@@leonmunt6244 Thor in his prime was significantly wider than Pavlo. He’s 6 inches taller, wider hips his proportions are completely different. It’s harder for him to ‘look’ really wide.
It’s like Lalas. He was wide for his height but put him next to a 6’4 strongman and he isn’t much wider if at all

@@JBS7551 Thor was in the Icelandic national team & won some decent comps at European level. Plus he always had a slight edge on Brian in terms of athleticism
@@gretapunberg7052 Wasn't he only in the U16-U18 national team? I mean don't get me wrong it's still a huge accomplishment but I don't think Thor played as a profession adult. Neither did Brian, as far as I can tell only HS/college level, again, huge accomplishment.
@@AdamA-qc6nc Yeah, U18 but their team did pretty well at a European level. Definitely a higher level than college basketball
I love that you bring a sense of reality to the strongman universe Mitch, it doesn't feel like a mysterious world of beefed up dudes who come from strange lands anymore LOL the very first video I saw of yours was your response video to Loz and Liz's WSM predictions, where even they knew nothing about you, and in that video, for whatever reason, you made it feel relatable and down to earth, I suddenly felt like I could be a fan without feeling like a stranger to it as well... Loz and Liz do this too but I felt that you deserved some credit as well for all your efforts on and off the "field" this past year. Great job Mitch and I look forward to your future strongman career!

Impressive how decent Mitch's cardio is, He prob figured he better cut the last game short incase he would have had to carry a collapsed Pav back to his room. :) He was breathing very hard towards the end there. :)
There's a 40 kg difference between the two and the ratio of muscle heavily falls in Pavlos favour, so of course he's going to be tanked in comparison
Mitch used to run marathons so his cardio is probably the best out of all the strongmen.

Bring back the strongman to strongman events. Who can beat Pavlo in armwrestling, tug of war and/or sumowrestling?
Those aren't really strongman events though, they're more about technique than they are strength. Devon Larratt beat Thor in his prime at arm wrestling, and I don't think there's anyone that believes Devon was stronger
@@kappaferret6052 Eh, just because something is about technique doesn't mean it's not strongman. Okay, Armwrestling and Sumo are bad ideas, but I wouldn't mind seeing tug-of-war or that weird log-push event again at a lower stakes event.
Interestingly, all of those events feature a lot more hand strength than most people think
Those are horrible Strongman events lol. Arm Wrestling is a whole nother sport in and of itself.
