Things I learned making my own Pokedex: I use energy cards and code cards as placeholders, I write down missing Pokemon on them with a marker and put them in the proper slot. Saved me a lot of time reorganizing later on if I made a mistake! Also, if you're doing regional variants, I placed them at the end of the generation where they came out (ex: Alolan Pokemon at the end of Gen 7) so I wouldn't have to move every card one slot over when they release a 4th Meowth or whatever I had the same thought about doing the Characters as well and I was shocked to find out there are a bunch of Gym Leaders and E4 who have never gotten their own card! Very surprising
I'm working on powered binder as well and I have tip for you use sticky notes or old energy cards and write the number and name and you flip to were you need to be. It will take a little time but it makes it so much easier to find the place faster.
That’s awesome! I think eventually I’ll put some ultra rares in here. On the side I have a holo only binder! But there’s no sorting whatsoever hahahaha
So I already have a Pokédex binder in process as well, but your trainer binder is a great idea and I’m definitely going to do that now too
