I own two 245a saws and a 306a. That "primer" you mention is a manial oiler. And youre correct Bout the pull cord. Theres enough room in there for a recoil mechanism to put one in.

It looks nice but I really wish they made it where you have to pull the cord to turn on the chainsaw instead of a toggle switch. Other than that I might consider buying it regardless.

I mean, a real one uses the switch too. You just need to pull the chord after switching it on to start it. So its not completely unrealistic. Obviously it can't be done without risking damage to it

Love the video, I had no idea we had to put batteries in the chainsaw ourselves. I was sitting here flicking the on and off switch and then pressing on the handle and it did nothing I’m sitting here like is it broke?? I looked up reviews and yours was first one to pop up… the website didn’t state batteries not included so I was confused

@zaaz2253 there are a few places, they're custom builds. you'll either get a resin casting of one or an actual chainsaw that's been gutted and converted to an ED2 saw. mine is the body of a real saw (a homelite xl just like the one in the movie) with the blade pulled from an old Spirit chainsaw. There's just enough room inside to cram the electronics into it.
@zaaz2253 also for a really cheap resin cast one you're looking at $375 and then one that's made from a real saw will be closer to $475
