The run is his run when he was chasing after Sally in the end. The tantrum is obviously the final chainsaw tantrum at the ending of the movie. The hammer from the Kirk kill, and when they were trying to get grandpa to kill Sally. The TCM game is good don't get me wrong, but som many people are acting like DBD didn't do their research on the movie. Plus Bubba's perks in dbd are all references to the movie. Franklin's demise makes you drop a your item, the icon being a flashlight. When Franklin was killed in the movie he dropped his flashlight. BBQ and Chili referencing the BBQ in the first movie at the gas station and the chili from the 2nd movie. Knockout referencing Kirk's kill yet again.
They watched the movie, not researched. He didn't tantrum, he was pissed off more likely. The run looks like he's holding in a turd when in the movie he full on belts it. He never cries in the movie and in fact even laughs when hooking Pam. They took the movie at face value when there is so much beneath the surface.
They also focus way too much on the 2nd film when in his lore he was taken at the end of the 1974 original. 'Bubba' is a perfect example of this, his name is Leatherface in the original.

Ok lemme tell you why, idle animations are so similar i cant tell u anything abt those, but tcm chainsaw sounds are such a huge downgrade. Dbd sounds like a killing machine, tcm sounds like an old lawnmower. For running, dbd bubba shows much more character, appearing more childlike (cuz bubba is a kid mentally) while tcm looks like a grandpa struggling to hold his damn chainsaw. For the chainsaw sprint, dbd is just SO much better. Dbd bubba looks like he wants to fucking rip you to pieces, swinging his 50kg death machine around like its nothing, tcm looks like he is struggling not to trip (and again, the sound is a massive downgrade). Dbd bubba's tantrum makes him actually angry, tcm looks like scary teacher with that weird ass animation. The base attacks i will not compare cuz they use different weapons, but i do like that tcm uses chainsaw. The executions are also the same thing, but tcm has a sound downgrade.

I haven't played TCM but I have played a lot of dbd, and you haven't experienced true terror until you've gone up against a Bubba player using Insidious on Lery's. That and Ghostface/Myers players is some of the most fun you can have in dbd.

Of course, I would need to actually play TCM to 100% confirm this, but I've watched a few of my friends play it.

One important detail lost on this perspective is TCSM's lighting in the unreal engine, making the model look MUCH better than here. BHVR was forced to make the character model have personal shading in the designs to compensate for the ancient engine it was running on. Regardless, because of this DBD's Leatherface still will continue to look better due to this fact, and now that both games are on Unreal, also allowing DBD to get the lighting benefits TCSM got to 'cheat' with.

Think it was removed when they changed the animation when you slammed a door on him. Before he fell flat on his back, got up, then shook around. Now he only flinches.
It used to happen when you slammed him with a door or when he started up his chainsaw, now it only happens if you get electrocuted by an electric thingy
Obviously TCSM has better and more polished animations given the period in which this game released. DbD as much as I love it really looks its age, the animations, overall fidelity of the game just look dated. I think that adds to the games character, but I would expect a game that came out 7 years later on much better hardware to look a lot better and have better animations lol.
Not the TCM Bubba Attack Animation moving the model out of its position (you usually don’t do that in the animation itself but rather the in game movement 😭)
Honestly I do prefer more the Leatherface from TCSM than the one from DBD. Mainly because the one from TCSM is screen accurate and is physically similar to Gunnar Hansen's Leatherface. Not to mention that is more realistic. 1:01 Also in the executions. TCSM is faster and can be argued as better for a gameplay. Since it's more straight to the point without anything extra to it like the one from DBD who got more going on for it. 0:56 Although in the picking up surivor/victim. I have to somehow give the point to DBD Leatherface, since on my personal perspective it's way more easier to carry a person on your shoulders than to carry on by holding it from one arm. Personally it depends on the persons weight and height to do such action.

both games ran on the same engine ue4 with dbd now running on ue5.3 as far as i know and TCM still 4.21 so basically TCM has the ancient engine now

Obviously TCSM has better and more polished animations given the period in which this game released. DbD as much as I love it really looks its age, the animations, overall fidelity of the game just look dated. I think that adds to the games character, but I would expect a game that came out 7 years later on much better hardware to look a lot better and have better animations lol.

Tcm has the actual chainsaw they use and the model is cleaner and way better
Not the TCM Bubba Attack Animation moving the model out of its position (you usually don’t do that in the animation itself but rather the in game movement 😭)
Honestly I do prefer more the Leatherface from TCSM than the one from DBD. Mainly because the one from TCSM is screen accurate and is physically similar to Gunnar Hansen's Leatherface. Not to mention that is more realistic.
1:01 Also in the executions. TCSM is faster and can be argued as better for a gameplay. Since it's more straight to the point without anything extra to it like the one from DBD who got more going on for it.
0:56 Although in the picking up surivor/victim. I have to somehow give the point to DBD Leatherface, since on my personal perspective it's way more easier to carry a person on your shoulders than to carry on by holding it from one arm. Personally it depends on the persons weight and height to do such action.

If DBD made the death animation more bloody and gore then it's a horror game. But TCM is just better when it comes to the bloody gore and it's amazing

Dbd didnt do a bad job considering how long ago it was. But hes long over due. They need to redo the masks like the pretty woman one too. Tcm game did it better but obviously they only have to worry about tcm

Also, the Dbd is more scary for me, taller with his eyes completely dark more like a monster, while TCM is realistic and makes him like a person but that is why he does not look more scary.
So BHVR actually used put effort when they were animating characters, now they're extremely lazy, look at Wesker or Knight, they're not even trying to make animations look good
For TCSM... it's mo-capped by an actual iconic actor, there's no contest
