When he said he can shushing for free I know that he clearly never shush a baby to sleep or training to sleep in their cot. Lol

Lmfao I thought the SAME thing. He obviously is not the one holding and shushing the baby all night.

@@giannavillacres1051 To be honest if you're sleep training, part of the process is the child learning to soothe themselves, you really shouldn't be shushing all night or then you're going to have to shush all night or the baby won't sleep. Like rocking, probably the worst mistake parents make then wonder why their kid won't sleep without being rocked.

Sleep training is fine & good but, it kind of goes out the window when you have a spouse who has to be up by 4:30am & out the door for work, esp one who works in underground construction using heavy machinery in areas where so much is already buried in the ground. Sure, the places are supposed to be located & marked with orange tape; however, all locator employees are not created equal & even the best locator’s make mistakes… it’s possible they were up all night with a new baby who doesn’t sleep thru the night.
I nursed our youngest & was a stay-at-home mom by the time she came along. I felt guilty as hell whenever I dozed off out of sheer exhaustion after being awake for days (& nights) on end with her nursing schedule of every hour on the hour. I was irritable from sleep deprivation & so was my husband. To make matters worse, one of the crews who were working not far from his job site made the local news when there was an explosion that resulted from a gas line being hit. A gas company employee was in critical care fighting for his life. A piece of equipment was destroyed too. Thankfully, my husband wasn’t on that crew but believe me, it shook us all up. I’m glad to say the gas employee survived, though he did have an extensive hospital stay with numerous surgeries & procedures.
I had a heartbeat doll that helped soothe her. I’d have given the shusher a chance. It’d either work or not.
I rocked both our girls to sleep. You have to figure out for yourself. My grams, great-aunts, aunts, my mom, they all said that sometimes babies just need to cry. It’s inconvenient at times but anybody who can’t stand inconvenient shouldn’t have children - or pets.

I haven't watched to the end of the video but you wouldn't use the app on regular daily-basis situation because you would have to to leave your phone along with child. So imagine yourself leaving your phone for 1 hour just to "Sush" the baby. So you wouldn't save productive time because you would have to be in the room if you want to use the phone.
But man, I don't know you/neither your channel but I really had the impression that you don't have any babies. Because saying that your are losing precious "binding/bounding time" lead me thinking it. You have 16 hours of no sleeping-time to do this.
And trust me, probably, after 3 months doing this then you will realize that you had enough and it will not like losing anything.
But if you have/had it and you don't get tired of it then congrats.

This product helps calm your baby and saves you having to shush forever. At night I play UA-cam shushing noises so honestly you don't need the product but shushing in general helps.

I shushed so much I almost passed out. So I got the app, and my baby LOVES it. But I’m not spending $35. I’ll get a different one. Too many cons. Not enough pros.

STOP putting background music to videos with *narration* .. it ONLY makes it HARDER to hear what you are saying and is VERY distracting ... EVERYONE STOP DOING THIS.. we are NOT here to listen to music !!

In case your baby shusher stop working: try checking the pins that are below the batteries. For mine, the left one slid to the side, so the battery wouldn't make contact anymore. Try to put it in central position again with a toothpick.

Want your baby to sleep? Lie on your back; put your crying baby on top of your chest; listen, love, stroke, sing quietly, hum, be quiet (but don't rock, pat or inject your own agitation into it); wait 30-90 minutes. Why are people so afraid of their baby's crying? It's a crazy world out there and there's a lot for a new person to process. Crying is a natural part of the processing. Just be there with them (after, of course, checking to make sure there is nothing else wrong like hunger, full diaper, etc.).

The speaker is supposed to be side firing so that's the point of the shape. Kinda makes me doubt how much research went into this if you never read the instructions.

I think it’s all about who wants it, I myself think that a baby shusher is very helpfully to keep a light sleeper baby asleep.

Great device but major flaws: 1. requires two hands to turn it on! Who has two hands while caring for a baby??? 1. Cannot set it down, or you cannot hear it, or it will roll away. You must hang it from its strap. Dumb!

Nick Lopez - I think it’s made that way so you can hang from above & blast the speaker in your baby’s face.

I can turn it on with one hand, put the bottom in your palm, hold it, and then simply turn the head with your fingers.

Good product for baby photographers such as myself. My only gripe with it is the placement of the speakers. That makes 0 sense to me. I just set it on it's side when using. But this thing works especially after feeding and burping the baby.
