Sometimes crappy movies are enjoyable. Lenny Bruce is whom sparked my interest in this film.
The main interest is to hear a script by Lenny Bruce.
This movie is before my time, 1953 era! Also, I like watching from early 1900', 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's.
Lenny Bruce, Honey Harlow, Sally Marr, a family production
This is deliberate - it's Lenny on movies.
Thank you, thank you, thank you BT for uploading entertaining movies! Keep the genre alive!
Thanks BT! Another cool post.
Thank you Broken 😁
This movie meant to be a joke, right 😵💫 Thanks BT, you have a good sense of humor.
Just enjoyable story ❤❤
Timothy Farrell is my fave
Mine too !
He can almost act. Almost.
Astoundingly awful, but thumbs-up for a decent catfight, which seems to be a recurring feature in Timothy Farrell movies. Was also shocked to see that Lenny Bruce wrote and starred in this turkey. On the basis of this film, you'd never imagine he had any talent at all. Dat guy in the weird hat -- it seemed like a thing in the '50s that some dude in a weird hat is supposed to be funny but should instead be assassinated for crimes against comedy. Honey Bruce Friedman is damned hot, tho. Thanks for posting!
The quality of this movie isn't even as good as if a high school student had made it...
Acting, script and the scenery are so accomplished that I could of done it in my garage with some friends...
Definitely show's Lennie Bruce had connections to get this made 😂
I'm still entertained
Thanks BT!
Garage you say. The movie is like any creation - song, novel, symphony - it's made in the quality of mind of the creator. Good luck in your garage.
The first thing I saw was Farrell. And I mean THING. Guy was a slug. Same character in Racket Girls. Same name, Scali. The music in the first "dance" scene sounded like the 1920s. L Bruce really does some abstract work here. And the square head with the Stan Laurel hat and grin....wtf?! Terse dialogue, gripping drama and excitement....are not found here.
Phil Tucker also directed ROBOT MONSTER.
ive seen him in other criminal movies
I think the guy that's going to buy the place out for the night is the tin man on the wizzard of oz
Maby
Jack Haley? Definitely not; certain resemblance, though. 46:16.
He's probably the worst actor in the movie, which isn't saying much. But, he's so creepy he kind of has that Jeffrey Dahmer look to him
Alright teenage boys of the 1950s. The scene you bought a ticket to this movie for starts at 17:35 and 24:22.
Hi BT hru?
He just kills people right out in the open with a knife…. No blood. The goofy Swedish guy doesn’t even question where his shipmate is the next day even after making a point to tell the henchmen that the guy had to be aboard the next morning.
Corn on a cob with a side of cheese.
THEM WHITE FOLKS HAVE THREE DIFFERENT BEATS THAT THEY'RE CLAPPING TO!!!
🤣
20:42 Evil.
😂 Man oh man. What a piece of crap.
I really enjoyed it.
This is a "D" Movie rather than a "B"! Maybe a lot further than that... who can say.... the skies the limit! ("Z" is a bit far)
That's 57 minutes of my life that I've wasted. I think Lenny was wasted when he wrote the screenplay.
Its ironic how Lenny is still idolized by the Left as a Free Speech Hero. The Left would cancel Lenny so damn fast today he wouldn't get 5 minutes into his spritz before the mob would start to condem him! I think it would be very interesting to do some of Lennys act , a few lines here or there, at a club just to see the crowd absolutely lose thier minds. Theyd have no clue it was Lenny Bruce material and be livid about the words. They know about as much about Bruce as they know about Che Guevara of whoms visage graces thier $40.00 t shirts. Same old bs. But how great it would be to pull this off only to lay it on em' later that thier Saint Lenny of What They Dont know, performed this stuff and the conservatives acted just like them!Show em' what hypocrites they are.
So bad.
So good
This is deliciously awful!😊
This is beyond bad.
This movie stinks.
🥸one of the werst movies in 50s i ever seen
I enjoyed it
Some kind swingin dancers wondering what drugs Mr Bruce ingested- no judgement
