I also got the Dukes piston and the Hyway cylinder. My tolerances were very good but I found that the rings are to hard and stiff from the Dukes and they scratch the cylinder walls up but for best results get the factory Stihl rings. Now my saw runs great excellent compression and torque.
Yes and the base was decked don't remember squish just done another vid using a hyway popup in a husky 365 results were not as good squish was worse check it out
yeah they offered to make it right ..ive not gotten back to them but yeah buy a hyway r meteor...whats odd is the 99cc 066 top end i bought from him had some of the best tolerances ive seen on an AF topend....but time will tell..
Impressive. I just put a hyway puop up in my 357 im only on 4 tanks but its starting to really come alive, its impressive as well. Wished hyway made a pop up for the 346!
The dukes brand piston and rings takes forever to seat and break in right. It took about 5 Ricks to get it seated right on my 066. Afterwards tho i had about same compression as oem. So no gains. However a real skirt coating does make a difference. But its worth the money to go with wiseco instead.

The added compression sure brought it alive! It’ll sure enough be a badass when rings get seated!
Sounds great with the pop up
That new piston woke that baby up!👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yeah I liked it so well I put one in my other 360..
Sounds pretty snappy with the new piston!
Nice! I just got a hyway pop up for one of mine I'm glad you got good compression.
I measured my squish without the gasket and got 20 .
Had to deck this one to get .020

Hope you sent the other piston back to your place you got it from and a big why!
Did you do base gasket delete too? What was. Your squish with the Hiwsy pop up?

Do you know what the hyway crank bearings are like? I cannot find oem crank bearings for my 360

Yeah this saw has a chrome jug takes even longer...I used his nikasil topend on my 066 build that saw has too much compression
Was the non hyway piston a pop up? Lil red barn and dukes are now offering a popup piston
