Starting a Komatsu D75S-2

How to cold start a 1960-something Komatsu D75S-2 track loader. These machines were built in Japan, and it snows in Japan. With correct technique you can start these old tractors from well below zero.

My experience with CAT has been that Engine Side Guards are essential to prevent that odd stray Branch or Girder entering the Engine bay and taking out the Oil Filter.

Big, heavy, powerful and strong. But slow. I live at 3000' elevation so I wish it was turbo charged.
