He’s all happy now until he gets his first emissions code an it goes into limp mode
This comment is so underrated only people that struggle with this would understand 😂😂😂
It'll be quietly deleted for sure. Not a chance CAT will leave an unfiltered Tony on a TV show with a dozer crippled up by the DPF system.
@@cristiantoledo1962 😂😂 it’s going to happen. There’s absolutely no way around it. Not a matter of if but when
That thing was deleted before it even came off the trailer.
@@Ma_Deuce you’re right all depends on regulations
i work at the Caterpillar plant in East Peoria, Illinois, USA where we build the D8,D9,D10, and D11 dozers. almost every frame (other than military dozers and a few others) has a flag painted on the inside of the frame of what country they’re going to. kinda cool to see where they end up.
That's badass
Legit? I have the caterpillar plant by me in Aurora. Looked like they did loaders excavators etc. I never saw a massive D11 unfortunately in that plant.
I did some work at that plant. We brought a john deere track hoe. A manager walked out and said "no no no."
@@kalebhusser3877 that one closed down like years ago
@@AntonioHernandez-bw9bt yea I do know that, I believe the office is open. Closed because tax evasion? If I’m right.
This show would dramatize putting on shoes if they could.
But wait..there's a knot! ..commercial 😄
Lol that’s what I have thought before as well it’s getting ridiculous with the over Dramatic music just to put the track on or to drive off a trailer
@Marina Lovely scamming is illegal, classified under U.S law and punishable by servers years of jail time
Mike's next harrowing step is tying the laces. An operation fraught with peril. One wrong move will result in a knot so tight as to both destroy the shoe and amputate a finger.
The faster you put your shoes on, the more gold we will find.
This show has always been great for 1 thing.Stating the obvious."The faster we get to work, the more gold we will find".
It's honestly a wild concept in this era.
@@deadeyeduncan5022 I agree.But I also know the Beets crew has a 9000 ounce goal,but if they don't get 9000 ounces of gold,they won't meet that.
@@pallmall5495 for every hour they aren't washing pay dirt, they're losing a lot of money each hour
@@raymond5097 One time the loader went down that was loading pay dirt into the plant. While the loader was down, they couldn't load pay.It looked like the end of their season, but 15 minutes later they were loading pay again.
the part that gets me annoyed is when they act like if they don't get the gold out of the ground this season then they won't get it, nope they'll just get it next year. yeah there are costs associated with downtime but it's not like the gold in the ground vaporizes if they don't get it this season.
It's amazing how Tony managed to take a look at his $3.5 million cab, on a $1.3 million Bulldozer. That really takes some skills!
Thats what i was thinking lmao
1.3 Million VOLVO Excavator
3.5 Million D11
@@jameslindley924 Title says 1.3 Million Bulldozer. And in the feed i just seen a title, tony needs a 2.5 million dozer. Epitomizes why I don’t watch the show anymore. It’s awesome he bought a huge new machine to go mine with and I love to watch them put it together and work it, but I can’t stand the fake drama where we pretend this is some insurmountable, scary, unique situation that must be overcome. This same procedure is done anytime a d11 is moved and while it’s interesting on its own, it does not need the climactic hype.
yea listening to them ring the buzz words over and over and over again. its like theres an EP running around with a huge cue card that reads "9 THOUSAND OUNCES A SEASON!!!" and "any number than A MILLION DOLLARS!!" like we are all excited that shit is expensive. those guys building that dozer must be like OMFG this is worse than the kardashians. just one piece of meaningless fluff after another. also the narrator is a tool.
It does if you want the average mouth breathing couch potato to tune in.
The same dramatic hype is seen on " Ice Road Truckers"... this hype is for the uneducated naive couch potato public.
That’s what happens when the vast majority of the viewers have no clue what is really going on. All of the reality #hows are done this way, I still enjoy watching what they do over 90% of what is on TV etc…. All about marketing……..
same with the fake new machine... look at the blade, tracks and ripper., no way would they be that worn already unless they used it for 20 hours before filming.. even then the blade wouldnt lose that much paint.
I love how he tells the Cat mechanics what to do as if their not trained how to put track frames on lol
Tony's used to being in charge and giving orders, plus I bet the mechanics are used to it from dealing with construction and industrial foremen.
Normally if there was no tv crew there wouldn’t be some fuckin old idiot getting in the way

The operator that put the track frame on the pin did a bang-up job. Smooth and gentle. Tony is a modern day gold prospector. These machines make this job easier.... Best of luck to you & your crew. Stay safe and make that money...
the fake drama is so outdated (and unneeded)

They probably wanted 200$ for that jacket
Caterpillar Inc. would NOT give as much as a safety pin free... leave alone a CAT jacket. Stingy miserly company..

The dozer went from being brand new with the tracks and blade nicely painted to instantly no paint on either. Sometimes I get the feeling Discovery thinks I'm stupid.
The paint comes off when you use it...
The paint disappears if you look at it wrong it’s literally only there so the blades not already covered in surface rust when it’s delivered
Ummmm . . .
In this case, you are stupid. Because you really think the paint stays on the tracks and blade on a dozer when it's getting used. 30 seconds into dirt and the paint on the blade is gone.
Tony is preparing his family for their future..good dude..he has the best crew and operation

Never noticed that Tony has such a strong Dutch accent. In Germany we have a kind of voice over on this series - this destroys a lot of the original conversations.
Haha I am also watching from Germany and saw this clip now for the first time in English and I must say, that I really like this accent he has and I have never heard it before. Worst accent for me is Australian, British and Denglish. And Indian. But I also realized they show some different frames, parts and conversations in the German version compared to this one. The whole part were Mike struggles to turn around the chain for like 5min is completely cut out here in the original version.. thought it would be the other way round..
I had no idea this show was still on. Been great cutting the cord and avoiding the forced drama.

Congratulations! New Caterpillar! Interesting! Informative! Educational! Watching from Los Angeles, CA Steve Miller.
What a great show.
A little background on CAT. Caterpillar Inc. builds the equipment. They "sell it to a dealer" and the "dealer sells it to a customer". Dealers have a "territory", if they sell outsider their territory, they "share" the profit with the dealer that covers that "territory". CAT stocks warehouses around the world and dealers order
parts from those warehouses. The connections between dealers and CAT Inc. are quite complicated.
Fabick Tractor in St.Louis, MO. sold a lot of the equipment that built the Alaskan Pipeline and they paid the dealer for Alaska 10% of what he made on the deal.
These guys make this series . At one point I nearly stopped watching then Tony Beets arrived

Wow, amazing video, thanks for sharing.
Anyone know how they cleaned all the shmoo off? I don’t know exactly how cold it is, but I imagine too cold to pressure wash or steam Genny it. Of course the easy answer is discovery is a little special and filmed 2 different machines and tried to tell the viewer it’s the same machine, but I don’t think that tony went and bought 2 D11’s.
Notice the portable heating units and flex hose being set up in the background.....They thawed the machine & frozen road grime and pressure washed it off. That is common on any big machine delivery in a cold climate with no indoor option. I spent time on the oilsands of northern Alberta, and big machines are being delivered and or moved daily on those massive operations....Some of those mines might have 50 or more D11's working at any time.
@@timtwichell1534 so how do they keep the whole machine warm enough for long enough that the water from the pressure washer has time to evaporate and not freeze on the machine, and freeze the door shut, freeze inside all the bolt holes, etc? Do they like, tent the vehicle? Or is it just not 20 or 30 below and they don’t have to worry about the water freezing that fast?
@@cnf6045 you answered your own question, they warm the steel up, it takes a bit of time for the heat to radiate back off the machine. The first thing they do is warm the motor up, that does a great deal towards keeping the metal warm enough so that water doesn't freeze the instant it touches the metal. Often it's enough to simply let the motor idle while you're cleaning it - you'll notice, though, they're not doing it in any kind of wind? that's kind of the 'secret' because once the machine warms up, the air next to the machine is warmer then the surrounding air. Add heated pressure washers, and it's pretty easy to get it clean.
@@stoneshrink I mean I figured they used steam generators, not just normal pressure washers, I just didn’t think that engine put off enough heat to warm up the entire machine, idve thought just around the engine bay.
@@timtwichell1534 are the oilsands in Alberta heating up again? Off topic I know lol just been waiting to hop on that oilsands train again
