I had a moment of weakness this morning. I purchased a full custom 06 Dyna with a 120R engine. 135HP, 135 ft. lbs. Torque at the tire. It is a real beast!
🤣 ITS ALIVE!!!! It’s Alive, it lives! Reminded me of the old Frankenstein movie! Looks like a lot of cosmetic damage and I’m sure that you will give the electrical system a good once over for good measure. 👍🏾✌🏾
I wonder if they are compatible with the V&H quiet baffles? Because those pipes do look and sound fricking awesome but yeah, probably too loud for most people. Quiet baffles may give you a happy medium. Requires a retune (if the bike was tuned with the completely open pipes in mind) but it should not be so stupidly loud with them.
question... sportsters aren't going for too much...do you think that you are going to break even on the sale? i'm looking on market place and they are going for pretty cheap. if you do a give away that would be your best bet at getting the most for it.
Not a chance if he sticks to Harley parts. But as is mentioned, Sportsters are the most customisable bikes on the planet and he can try to find cheap aftermarket parts. Something like a Sportster compatible gas tank for cheap should not be hard to find but it will be bare metal and unpainted.
After watching your Scout videos and your enthusiasm for Indians I think I’m going to trade in my Kawasaki Z1000 for a 2025 Scout Bobber. Do you think I would be happy with the new Scout. I like smaller lighter bikes and the looks of the Scout Bobber. How comfortable is the new Scout? I’m 50 years old and sport bikes are starting to be uncomfortable for longer rides. I’m 6’5” 230 lbs do you think the Scout will fit my size?
I think it depends on the setup. If you can find a Scout with 10" risers and extended reach seat, you may be comfortable. You're pushed back more and your arms are more straight/up than down/angled. I know a few folks on the taller side that enjoy Scout that way over 6' tall. I think the bigger issue is the suspension. You'd want more clearance or the ability to dial it in on 101. Or, go bigger with the other recommendations. Scout is a shorter wheelbase (not by much tho), but you there's like 30 ergonomic combinations available now.

Don't you hate it when that happens

Any progress on the Victory?
Yes, but you won't see a video on it for a month/two maybe.

Simple answer, nope.

Hi Brandon. 😊
Hey, Bridgett 🫶🏾
guessing the fuse popped cause of the lights being torn off. that's my guess
Sort of. Wires touched in the hand control cluster.
