  • First leg of my cross-country flight from Glendale, AZ up to Payson, with a transition over Deer Valley airport. This is my first GoPro video so forgive the lack of editing, etc.
    Enjoy!

So how do you like flying the f28f? I've nearly finished my private in a Robbie R22, and have ~10 hrs in a 44. The altitude performance looks great in the f28f, and no 2200 hour overhaul requirement. No governor though, right?

I love it. I have a few hours in a 22 and it doesn't even compare in my opinion. High inertia rotor system with a turbocharger is very forgiving for training flights. It doesn't have a governor but it does have a correlated throttle

Good to hear. Yeah, the 1.5 seconds to get the collective down in a R22 is a little unnerving. Wouldn't mind eliminating mast-bumping as a possibility as well. Now if I can find a mechanic in my area who could maintain an Enstrom, I might be in business. Thanks for the feedback.
