A few things I don't like are the haptic button for changing the drive mode and the plastic paddle shifters. The button feels somewhat irrelevant to the driver, yet it's essentially important! I'm eyeing this car, but I think overall its biggest flaw is its exterior appearance. It feels... not that attractive and classy. However, it's the only 'affordable' coupe I've found that sits low, drives like a sports car, yet remains comfortable and roomy.
Disagree that it was a positive thing for this to replace all other 3 door-coupes because now less people can afford a car with that price or specific characterists. Here in Europe, 3-door models of Golf, 1-series, C-class, Civic, Corolla, etc, were the closest cars to a pure sports car either as design as specs that the lower and middle class with more than 1 kid, could afford. No, the "sport versions" are just more of the boring- looking 5 doors, just with extra power and a fancier body kit but not that much different performance specs to the base models in terms of suspension, cornering, or grip. Only real difference is being that much expensive.
M240i is a much lower segment car. So being the same price is actually a loss for the bmw. The cle 300 is obviously not the sport variant and more focused of relaxed luxury with enough passing power for 99% of us. The cle 63 will the ultimate power coupe
Benz used to advertise “the best or nothing” Nowadays, they’re nothing. Bunch of cheap generic design with flimsy plastic interiors. This is essentially a robbery being a C class demanding E class price tag

Looks good but not worth $50k-$55k. You can get BMW M240i for the same price which has way better performance than CLE coupe
G42 100% the better buy and value but this car competes at a slightly higher segment, in between the 4 and 8 series
