Can you plz show me the Chords you were strumming I bought this Guitar and love it thinking of getting the stick on inlay stickers for it Thank you Jeff Main
Shame your shop is 1000 miles away - I could see myself being a regular customer! Alvarez, Art & Lutherie, Seagull... yep, these were all high on my list for a first acoustic. Ended up buying a Seagull but these Alvarez's are way cool!!
Alvarez is one of my favorite acoustics out there.. I owned one for many many years.... so.... the million $$ question... what does that guitar cost?.. thank you T-Roy !
I should have mentioned that, sorry about that! Anyway the Retail is 859.99 but the MAP (Street Price) is 549.99 thanks for the comment and question and thank you for the Sub!
This guy has a small shop that isn't owned by bigger corporation! Don't kill every Mom and Pops shop in the freaking world, ok? I know Wal-Mart shoppers tend to love the fact that Wal-Mart killed every small town Mom and Pops shop back in the 80's but lets not go killing every small town guitar shop too! When it comes to instruments, a lot of people would pay the extra cost just to have that personable experience that comes from small Mom and Pops guitar shops.
Yes you are right! I need to go back and correct it! I did 4 reviews on Alvarez guitars that day and got my info messed up, lol! Anyway no excuses I just need to correct it, thanks for the comment!
Hey Vanessa both Guitars are Grand Auditorium models. The ag60 has a little narrower waist but the only other major difference is the ag70 has a beveled edge which makes it a bit more comfortable to play for long periods of time. Not to mention the beveled edge is really attractive as well. I hope I helped and thanks for the question!
Not in that model but Alvarez does make a AJ80CE which is a Jumbo 12-Sting Acoustic and I think it Maps for a little less then this one. Map I believe is around 499.99, thanks for the comment!
T-Roy, the "E" in that model designation is for "electric". In your intro you mention the pick up system (in a very incomplete way). The title of the video says DEMO. Yet you don't demo the plugged in sound. Also, sounds like you just used the camera mic for the recording. Poor choice for a musical instrument DEMO. So no, I didn't like the video that much.
That second song you played really demonstrates what the true sound of this instrument is?! Loved it!!! I think I want this model?!

That is rosewood back and sides not mahogany. The AG60CEAR is the mahogany back and sides model. The AG70CEAR is rosewood back and sides.

What is the neck thickness and profile vs a oscar schmidt og2
Is that a current model guitar;that will be sold further into 2019? And the price? And were you plugged or using any effects?
