I just came across your channel while I was looking for info on dacs and apple hi res lossless. Not much has changed in 2 years since you made that episode I think I’ll go back to my iPod 7 and my converted flac files. I’m now a subscriber Cheers mate 🎉
You come up in my sub feed on occasion and I always forget you’ve got really based music taste lol. Comparison to S12? I’m pretty sketched out by Kickstarter-only projects.
around 2 years ago you did a ifi zen dac v2 and later a zen can review. You sad that going back from the DAC/CAN combo won't be easy. But you also sad that you were a little bit biased. I an wondering. Did you got back to the DAC/CAN combination? Or just the DAC V2? And would you today say that the ZEN CAN amp is making it a better product? And is it worth the extra money?
I'm really interested in this planar but since I'm an android user I'm afraid i won't get their full potential unless i buy an expensive DAP. I'm wondering if a 70€ DAC could drive those fully but yet again idk if the charger cable of (S23 Ultra) usb c - usb c could hinder the power of the DAC even if i use the USB audio player pro. Would i need another usb-c to usb-c dongle?
Android is better if you want to enjoy music, be it wirelessly with high res codec or with wired iems. I did not get your question fully but i am S22 ultra user and i use IFI go link dac or Moondrop free DSP cable to drive any iem and they are pretty good for the price. You may choose any of these. If you want to go little up in price, i will highly recommend qudelix 5k where you will also get built in pro grade EQ.
you may want to step back and think before repeating the marketing material about mp145 "big" driver size, justifying the huge shell size : s12 which is smaller on the outside has a bigger 14.8mm driver inside, timeless is not that smaller at 14.2mm
Funny this comments . Volumes encreases and so the treble . All depends of the volume. S12 and timeless is better for lower volumes and this for higher volumes . Simple guys
I love that you select extra tracks based on what you're testing. Thanks for the info!

So in your opinion, the MP145 handles 7 Hz well? It's more suited to the mid-bass? Please give me some links to music for testing.

I didn’t say it was bigger or smaller than other planar magnetic but 14.5mm is a big driver in an IEM👍🏾

which comment are you specifically referring to?
@@bestcocbaseswithlink5069 when people refer to tuning without telling g what volume are they. Simple
