- I was listening to the Trigun OST while practicing Spy (since I can't play my main of over 10 years in casual anymore). I didn't feel the need to mute the video, it oddly fits.

I once had a game where both teams had "distraction spies" using boxtrot and cryptcreeper that would get targeted by bots while other people stood nearby and shot the bots
That could be a new tactic, reminded me of a tactic I discovered in casual called kamikaze scouts, where a group of 4 or more scouts just swarm a bot and distract them while other players take the bot down while it is distracted
It worked to great effect with one or two bots at a time, and the scouts that survive always taunt after killing the bot (while distracting the bot we bonk them with our bats)

It didn't run out of ammo, the BOT just spawned so their ammo for the sniper rifle was at 25 (the same capacity you get when spawning. Then they fired 15 shots which made them still have 10 shots left.
Funny "fuck this shit get sliced" aside, it's rather interesting to see that Rathook has fallback measures in the event of an impeding element, like running out of ammo.

Same. I wish not every player knew my sightlines and weaknesses now because of bots taking over. I feel like once I get into a server (and if I don’t get votekicked for picking Sniper) I have to play twice as hard as before this bot bullshit. Along with the younger playerbase calling my main broken because the class wasn’t made with the expectation of cheaters. A real player misses half their shots.
try community servers like uncletopia or play during peak hours, thats how i avoid them. Hope this helps 👍

This works because moving taunts in TF2 are broken. There is a mismatch with the animations the server sees versus what clients see. As far as the server is concerned, the Spy is actually standind idle, whereas clients see the taunt animation. So the bot is trying to shoot the head hitbox that it sees, but that's not where the head is on the server, so it will continuously miss
Yes, but this only happens if you call for another action, such as a voiceline like medic or go go go! Also it often doesnt work

Ngl, the spiderweb Unusual effect on Boxtrot is pretty nice actually. Gives off the vibes of a box you've had sitting in the attic for years gathering dust. Most Unusual taunts are pretty meh but this one is cool
Thanks, it’s funny you say that cause I had a guy in a match asking “Why the fuck would anyone buy an unusual boxtrot” and when I told them I unboxed it myself they said “I’m so sorry for your loss” LOL
But fr, I love it because I have a friend with terrible arachnophobia and this taunt can still trigger it from him.

I have never seen a bot in Casual, I don't know where you guys are from where billionaires literally sell out every server in the world... But okay.
Which region are you playing from? I find them in US servers daily.
Singapore servers are spared from them.

I’m not sure where you’re playing from or on what servers, but in pretty much every major region of the USA bots are a pervasive problem in Valve-hosted servers, the only type that you can connect to in Casual. Billionaires selling out servers doesn’t really have anything to do with it, I’m not sure what you mean by that.
I'm often connected to Frankfurt servers and there are still sometimes loads of bots

They do it a lot actually. Some are smart enough to use their melee on Heavies with the FoS
They always do when you approach them close enough, and they also always use random crit script on their melees.

Although I'm a Cheater myself, I would probably like to someday DDoS a Bot hoster's server computer until their Bots go offline from it, lol. I don't support Bots and I'm tired of seeing script kiddies like these host Bots on TF2 just to bully legit players.

I don’t know what causes it, but if I can angle the boxtrot taunt to the side before a bot sees me then their aim will be off. I’ve done it a few times with Sniper’s didgeridoo taunt too.

Literally like less than 1K "players" are bots, people are making this a bigger problem than it is, Valve know about the bots but its not as easy as people think to just get rid of these headless clients without deploying invasive anti-cheat tactics that they have already stated is not right, you dont want random software running at kernel mode when your PC starts just to play a video-game, thats insane.
