Thank you for streaming this! I have a copy of Satisfactory, and first time playing it was overwhelming. After watching your stream, I got confidence to try again. Not only that I’ve rewatched a second and third time to catch the things you explained as you went on.
The trick is to just go at your own pace and don't be afraid to re-do stuff. Luckily, unlike Factorio, you don't really have a ticking timebomb of enemies or running out of resources. You can go as slow as you'd like. Only advice if ur lost is to just progress towards the milestones whichever way you like or can
love the glasses! i also have to wear a pair to be able to work efficiently and it annoys the heck out of me, so its fun to see that you hate yours too hdhdjs very relatable

Hey tango! With holding control for snapping machines, if you aim at the machine instead of the ground, it will perfectly snap to that machine without gaps!
The glasses are flattering, though I understand not liking having to wear them. I feel like a lot of conveyor belt spaghetti could've been avoided in the Iron factory by using a couple storage containers. Something to think about when you redesign?

Hopefully you got the blue tint for screens to go with them. I can't live without my glasses in front of a computer now. Time catches up to all of us unfortunately. Took me until I was like 46 at least before I got stuck having to wear glasses. (I'm 53 now)

As someone who's also supposed to wear glasses more than I actually do - thanks for the reminder that even for just watching a livestream I should really be using them, haha. I don't want to become blind just because I'm too lazy or proud to wear an extremely normal and common head accessory, after all! Besides, I find that people who don't know me actually tend to treat me better on average while I'm wearing them - they trick people into thinking I'm a respectable person :P
RE The assembler belt layouts. I personally prefer a stacked manifold. I usually line up the splitters to the middle of the assembler and the bottom will just bend to one side, the top will bend to the other and go down. Actually looks quite nice IMO and you can load the manifolds from either side, even opposite sides if it makes sense for your factory layout which it often does. Also about the Alien DNA, just grab the carcasses as you kill them while exploring and unload them into a storage to feed a mini factory to process it. They are useful for the health inhalers to get instant full health (useful while exploring) as well as to sink. At some point it will take so many points to get a new ticket while sinking normal factory parts it actually becomes worthwhile to sink the DNA capsules as they have a different points to next ticket counter.
i am both happy and sad to see you playing satisfactory again. happy, as it's a fun game and it's always amusing to watch it. sad because the last time i watched you play was shortly before my dad passed away.

This game has had me in a choke hold. Every time I think I've scratched the itch it drags me back in. I'm excited to see the man that designed up the crazy automated Create factory cook in this game.
Aww, Tango, you look good in glasses. As someone who has been wearing glasses for most of my life and resisted them in the beginning, you'll get so used to them to the point you won't even remember you're wearing them.
Loving the Satisfactory started playing at launch of 1.0 for the first time. one thing i found was if you are exploring and hold "E" and hit tab you can run around without touching or holding the e anymore.
I don't know if you'll get to see this in time but - when you get the disks, scan them but don't pick anything you don't like. You improve the chances of getting what you want with every one you scan as they don't repeat and you are limited to the tech level you unlocked. There are some incredibly useful ones

It's a blast! Enjoy! If you like factory building and nice graphics, you probably don't need another game for a couple of years.
Be prepared to have time for nothing else and all your time outside the game to be consumed with planning your factory.

Hey Tango, 40:00 night spawning is a thing at specific spawn points, and these can be away from resource nodes. I believe it’s only spiders that do.

I dont play the game myself, but i like to watch others play it. But the game itself is real good, humor, grafic and sounds are superb!
