Can I ask how the bugs were? I have a fear of bugs and spiders and I'm concerned this will affect my healing experience. I'd be grateful to hear your thoughts, thank you!
There definitely are bugs and spiders as you're in the middle of the jungle, but it's actually not that in-your-face. The beds have mosquito netting over it so you're protected there and all of the enclosed spaces have netting around to keep the bugs out.
Are there big ass spiders and snakes all over the place? I want to have my first experience in the Amazon so it’s as genuine and authentic as possible but don’t think I can handle spiders and snakes everywhere while dealing with every other challenge the experience entails..
Everything is optional and at your own personal discretion, even the ayahuasca ceremonies. They respect the choices of their participants. That being said, I did find it helpful to cleanse the system prior to the first ceremony. It's all about intention - not just with the medicine, but everything in life :) Hope that helps. Kambo is good for environmental allergies, it cleanses the lungs and bronchial tubes from allergies such as dust and flu. In many cases it helps cleanse the blood and raises the immune system, cleanses toxins from the internal organs, lymphatic, nervous and blood systems. It is recommended to have a treatment and apply the medicine gradually for each person.
