Awesome video! I’m here in California and we are in the same boat as you. There are those venues and vendors who are breaking the rules with receptions for 150-200 people. Many are getting busted. Here’s something funny about your weddings in New Jersey vs California....just about 95% of our weddings are outside. We watch our weather apps every time we have an event and make plans for bad weather. Thanks for all your great videos!

Oklahoma was down from March 14 to June 10ish. (3 months) back to almost normal now.
Great point about the set up area.... I have a requirement for sun proof & water proof cover in my contracts at all events that apply. I learned the hard way about that issue. It's great that you mentioned it. We lost a lot of weddings for this year and are rescheduled to next year. Here in NEPA we've done about 5 weddings plus other events since we're back and hope to do about 10 more plus other events. A drastic cut from last year but we're plugging ahead. Thank you as always for your vlogs!!

Just picked up a gig this Saturday. Was a little scared but watching you, rick and JB is getting me pumped up.
Dj barr, i just want to make a sugestion. If you are outside invest in a tent for your equipment. Just pop it up and your good to go. And use a generator. Then you never have power issues. I think you know what im talking about. I know You are boys with DJ RICK WEEB. So you know better, dont be lazy... lol
For me no wedding yet. I did a BBQ last Saturday. I locked myself in a canopy. It was pretty good. 🤷🏾♂️
Glad to see you getting back to work! Question: Seriously thinking about using my old touch screen all-in-one computer for a photo booth. What software do you use, and do you really need to print at the event, vs posting the pics online somewhere for the guests to grab and print later at home? I see your list here, but what minimalist approach to photo booth gear do you recommend for a DJ wanting to expand into that as an option?

Barr, why not use the Maui Go in that situation. Also maybe buy a USB powered controller for smaller events.
We've had 5 all outdoor, we picked up 2 more for next month, and that may be it for the year. I keep getting requests for bottom dollar events but I'm being selective. Lots of DJ's aren't giving back fees in Oregon, or at least thats the story I've been hearing.

I've done 3 outdoor weddings since May and each one it has rained here in NC.
Get well Christian.. A man of few words but a professional threw and threw. Also, Soo many great ballrooms going to waste.
100ft 12 guage extension cord would be a very wise investment if you're going to be doing more outside weddings due to covid. By having a long extension cord you wont have any connections that can get wet and cause a short. Under your table place the power cords on top of something so they arent on the ground.
Issues with long a/c wire? Do you use 120 Or 220?
So you said "screen shot the wedding program so you can make your own" Im sure people would pay $5 bucks do download a PDF that your clients can fill in? As always great vid, the rain sucks balls, i had a summer house party last year (which i almost never do anymore) , requested to be under the tent (thankfully) , and a MAJOR summer lightning and rain storm broke out of nowhere 2 hours in with 4 hours remaining, had to take the party inside when i felt electricity pulsing through my macbook - and that in itself was very tiring :-( Cant wait to see more covid parties!
