I must say, here is the beauty of why I love this guy and his products, you notice everything he is saying is raw on the spot, no card reading. Real deal info
This is also why I cant stand flyers for shows that advertise the amount of watts of the system in use. Sometimes you think they were counting all the lightbulbs in the venue too!
Great insight. I'm a bass freak but in my opinion a PA set up doesn't really need anything below 40Hz because its the punch that gets the audience hyped up and nobody really notices that your subs are playing below 40Hz. Plus playing lower saps lots of power from your amp and stresses the drivers. I'll take a loud thump over playing low in a PA setup any day.
@@gaffle-411 Not what I am saying. If I had a choice I will always pick the sub with balanced sound and hits all the notes and I want to hear everything down to the lowest frequency possible. However, I noticed that for most people a good thump is just fine especially when you have a hyped up crowd and you really want to crank things up.
So true ill say 90% of people go for max watts, they all belive that more watts the louder they will sound or the bigger the louder they will sound. how about efficiency?
@@BASSBOSSBASShey i'm checking out this video one year later. i don't see those new speakers on your website. have y'all released them yet? also, i noticed the tweeter looks like a dayton planar horn driver. is that correct? i used the same horn when i made my 3-way pa speakers
there is absolutely notes down to 30hz in most all modern music even country. look up dirt on my boots, Jon pardi, you would not even know the sub bass existed if your subs only go down to 40hz
FFS man....Wow, delete this video and re do the audio, did you even listen to this yourself!??? On your own hifi???LOL Wowzah, it kills the ability to hear what great content you put up here.

So you’d prefer the sound of the one-note, 70Hz wonder from a Yorkville ES18P over the balanced, low-hitting, yet powerful BassBoss SSP118 MKII?
