Myzithres rocks - Zakynthos island

One of the attractions of the island of Zakynthos is to visit the rocks of Myzithres, on the water during a cruise, or by car at sunset, visiting the Keri Lighthouse restaurant. The rocks are located near the town of Keri, on the western side of the island, towards its south.
The name Myzithres comes from a local cheese called myzithra. The two rocks have the appearance of 2 white pieces of cheese made locally from goat and sheep milk and whey.
Near the two rocks is the point with the greatest depth in the Mediterranean Sea: 4500m.
The landscape, but also the contrast between the white color of the rocks and the ink-blue water of the Ionian sea, takes your breath away, it is a special, romantic place.
