In the fights where I kept going back and fourth I ended up siding with the guy I thought the judges would like better. Sounds like we are on the same page there.
@@138MMA especially if Sal D’Amato is there, he had Tuivasa beating Rozenstruik, there’s some closer ones where he’s chosen the ladder, but after seeing that one idk how the commissions keep him as a UFC judge
@@JacobDeWatersSal D’Amato was not a judge in the Tai fight. The guy that gave it to Tai was a random local judge and got kicked out right after surprisingly enough Sal wasn’t involved in the fight at all.
If I were you bro, invest a little money with Armen for the decision on a separate Parlay. Reason being is because I've noticed his striking defense looked good against Christian, Caio wrestled like crazy because imo I think Caio knows he's not the better striker, Armen is good at closing distance, finding timing and I've noticed Shara is hittable when fighters pressure him and Shara doesn't like it. I'm not going to be surprised at all if Armen lands the better shots on Shara when he pressures him up against the cage. Also, he's beaten the better competition and I feel like Armen's IQ is slightly better than Shara.
Oh I’m not betting a side in that fight at all. I have no doubt Armen can win, I honestly think he will get robbed even if he does though. If I did bet Armen it would be a decision = no action bet in order to take the judges out of it.
@@138MMAI am playing it safe and taking the over 1.5 rounds as a parlay piece. I don’t see toouria finishing max and I don’t see Halloway finishing Topuria
Tried the under for Bash bro v Hugo feel like both dudes could get a finish. It would be kinda crazy if Rakic wins a Dec over Ank. But UFC would prob love it. They can throw another guy at Pereira that will stand and prob get KO’d
Kinda off topic, but Rafael dos Anjos in portuguese means Rafael of/from the Angels, much like surnames like da Silva or do Nascimento. Do or da in portuguese can be a preposition. In spanish Dos is a numeral. In that case, if Rafael was hispanic, his name would mean Rafael Two Angels. Great video fam
I really appreciate this comment! I speak a little Spanish so to me the dos means two 😂 I know RDA speaks Portuguese but since I don’t, my mind doesn’t go there first. Love the insight into the meaning. That makes a lot of sense and I find that kind of information super interesting. 🙏
Still not quite. For example, some fighters are just going to lose the first round no matter what. Charles Johnson, Joshua Van, Marlon Vera… they can still be justifiable big favorites if they will win the fight = to the implied percentage. Like you give me Josh Van against an old cottonwood tree, he will find a way to lose the first round (maybe a limb falls on him) but he’s going to turn up that volume and get the win in the end.
His name is DJ Jones. Apparently there was more than one DJ Jones. My buddy is the offensive lineman from Nebraska. He played like 3 seasons or something.
@@138MMA I recognize the other DJ Jones (defensive lineman), but I was too young to recognize this DJ Jones, still really cool he went to the NFL though
Phew bias judges over here today. I think it would be really great if you did an after card analysis video. Talking about where the analysis falled short, where it was very accurate, and analysis of the judges scoring, ref calls etc
As I mentioned in the video, close fights will have an obvious side the judges are looking for. Unfortunately post fight analysis just doesn’t get views. Instead of 2k views it will get 200 and it kills my algorithm.
@138MMA yea you def made it clear, and I'm glad you factored it into your picks. Unfortunate they don't get views because they'd be really useful. I feel like us layman viewers tend to forget/not realize what we overlooked in previous fights
Really appreciate you 💪 keep up the good work 👏
Thank you, brother. 🙏
Your notes on the board are no short of epic/amazing! keep up the good work bro!!! Always watching/liking your content!!!!
I greatly appreciate that. 🙏
Not many people show you their notes. It’s one of the things they make me more transparent than most. 🫡
Good stuff man. Good luck
Best of luck, Scott!
Great breakdowns and notes as always!
🙏 always appreciated my friend
I always like your breakdowns. I’m picking all the OV’s and EV’s on this card. They are fighting in their district. I could see bias judging
It’s bound to happen in at least 2 fights

Consistently the best breakdowns in the game
🙇♂️ consistently one of my favorite comments. You da man!
Solid picks!
Thanks Jake! Went with the “when in doubt, go with the more local guy” approach.

I'm tempted now to do the same bro
Great breakdowns. All the rightful favorites haha we agree on all the fighters that I bet on that’s why I gave you crap in the other videos lol
Glad we agree! I take it you haven’t watched my Main Event breakdown yet 🤣

@christophertorres7379 I can agree with that. Likely a decision

I don’t mind that under at all. I think bash gets the finish later on. Could be a dominant decision.

@jocojoel as long as good folks like yourself keep tuning in, I’ll be here. 🫡
I see a lot of parallels in the way ppl are capping Orolbai/Rebeki to Fluffy/Pereira and I think this plays out the same way.
@@mattcohen3630 Orolbai being in Hernandez’ situation?
Interesting. I don’t know that Orolbai can weaponize his pace quite like fluffy but I see where you’re going with it and you may be right about that.
@@138MMA The same experts who said Fluffy would have to weather the early Pereira storm are now swearing Rebeki is winning R1
@mattcohen3630 they were kinda right last time. Fluffy ate some nasty shots round one. If it plays out the same that will pay off for oralbi
Wish I found this UA-cam before the second to last DWCS
I wish you did too! We could have been having a blast the whole season. Glad you’re here now though. 👊
Awesome

My expectation of a massive favourite doesn’t require a finish, but they should cover the spread. Not sure if you go that far too?

Actually, that's a fair point, I've bet those situations. For the most part though, usually losing one round is too much risk with the judges for me.
@pinkfreud13 i tend to agree but thats an entirely different issue. That’s judging incompetence or corruption. That is just a nightmare to unpack.
Yes, but still needs to be weighed into betting.
@pinkfreud13 it does. That’s why I’m not betting Armen this week.
