Neal is the type of guy who is really hard to predict because sometimes he shows up and looks great while other times he doesn’t really get the ball rolling. That’s a really tricky one that honestly could go either way. Without digging into it and just going off memory I’d side with Buckley as I feel he’s more consistent, but that’s a fight I’d stay away from in regards to a betting side unless the line forced my hand.

Sure you won’t be at your peak but if you’re not going to try to win, throw in the towel. He didn’t try to win until the 5th. It’s also not a good sign considering how he performed with a broken jaw against Usman. I’d argue a broken jaw is far more detrimental in an mma fight. That said… maybe it was just the foot and Colby puts on a clinic.

@@138MMA Yeah, I was thinking this afterwards that was the only negative, that he didn't try to go for broke. Pain is made differently and also motor functioning could easily play a part in a foot break.

It didn’t appear to be broken to a point he couldn’t use it considering he stood there on it for the rest of the fight. Makes sense to me to take the opponent down and not have to be on the foot anymore 🤷‍♂️ Would have to drive off the other foot but not that crazy to think. Idk I feel like the foot was just a small part of that performance.
