    Thank you for explaining the tracking so nicely, I've watched so many of these and yours was the only one not to confuse me!

    Nice man! I like that you utilize adjustment layers. I should probably use them more often instead of “marrying” edits. Great video! Keep it up!

      Thank you!! Adjustment layers always make working with effects easier I feel. I start to have weird things happen when I put a lot of effects just on the clip. Thanks for checking it out!

    If I were to track something coming in and out, would I need to find a time stamp where it's fully visible to blur the frames backwards and forward ? It seems that if I create a mask and blur an element during the mask, it is completely useless, but if I do it at the beginning of a mask it's good. So doing it from a frame where you fully see the "to-blur" thing and creating two masks, one blurring forward and the other backward in order to have a blurred item while it's entering and leaving a frame? And how would you manage it going in the frame, out then in again? Just re-masking it ?

      You shouldn't have to create two masks to go forward and backward. You can track select mask forward and backward one frame on the mask path toggle so it should work. I would highly recommend starting the mask at the very beginning of when you see the object you need to blur just because it will be easier and most likely work better. Lastly, whenever I have the mask come on and off the frame or it gets blocked for a short period of time, if it stays in the same general area and size, I usually set some mask opacity keyframes on the mask. From 0-100 or the other way depending on what you need probably for only a few frames just so the blur mask isn't just there for no reason. You shouldn't have to create another mask! Hopefully this helps you out and I answered your question!

      @@TMBProductions12 Well I did some test shots to try it out and it comes in and out of the shot, but if I start from the first frame and over the next ones it will be part of it until seeing the whole item to blur, so I would need to modify it. What I did was create a mask over the whole section of the visibility of the item but creating a mask and tracking forward and also backward wouldn’t track it properly for X reason. I will try it out again to see how it is, maybe I just did the « auto all frame blur » instead of creating at least one manually (the single arrow) and then doing the whole automatic tracking, maybe it’s why?

      @@tastyham I would definitely modify the mask with the opacity keyframes so it won't appear when you don't want it to. And same when you want it to. I am not sure why it doesn't work for tracking it backward.. I would try to create a decent amount of them manually, sometimes the auto all can get a little glitchy! Let me know if that fixes it

      Like markers on the timeline or on clips? You hit the M key and it should create a marker!

    When I put Blurriness at 50 (or another value) what gets blurred is the whole screen, not the mask I drew. Why is that? I cannot understand.

    • @TMBProductions12
      @TMBProductions12  7 місяців тому

      Are you applying the blur first than creating a mask from the blur? Make sure you're using the free draw bezier from the blur effect not from the opacity or any other effect you have!.

    Can I just send you my video so you could remove something out as well? haha I keep having issues with moving the little box I created. It's hard to explain but in all seriousness can you help? I basically want to remove a food particle from teeth lol

    • @TMBProductions12
      @TMBProductions12  3 місяці тому

      It can be a little tricky especially with something that is hard to see like a particle from teeth lol. You basically have to go frame by frame with something like that. What are the issues you are having?

    • @10Mspinky
      @10Mspinky 3 місяці тому +1

      @@TMBProductions12 True lol I may end up just leaving it as is. Basically, I keep getting stuck with one part, not being able to MOVE the shape I made. I've already tried all options too (square, oval and draw-yourself). For some reason the little hand does not appear and it just keeps moving the corners of the shape instead. I am not sure what I am doing wrong :/ I just wanted to blur out (or remove completely) a food particle that's on the teeth

      @@10Mspinky Hmm that's strange it's not working.. Every time you create a new keyframe, are you making sure that your layer mask is still selected? Sometimes it clicks off and won't work. Or trying zooming in on the program window to move the points? Do you have other layers on top that the mask is interfering with?
