Most riders in india 🇮🇳 don’t maintain the service record history with the dealership. And I don’t recommend anyone to buy a used Superbike without this. Very important!
Remember these points whenever you're buying something from dealers in Karol Bagh like Saraswathi motors, I have heard that some people had these exact issues after purchasing a superbike.
Thanks a lot for clarifying/teaching some things about grey market. If i may suggest a topic for a podcast, there is 1 thing which an average person is fooled everyday and that is the bill after the servicing of a bike. How to check simple things like chain tension and lubing, oil change, clutch play, idling, oil seals, etc. is something which every1 who rides a bike should know. Most of the above things are accepted by the users blindly and always end up spending unnecessarily on it. Most of the servicing of a bike can be done at home with the help of a basic tookit and does not require much time as well.
Shumi please do a podcast on riders safety, riding gears importance and what level of protectors needed for certain riding types, should be helpful to many audiences. Nice information and very well articulated topic on purchasing super bikes.
Hi shumi really nice video very very helpful. Actually i want to ask u why do prefer to buy a multistrada i mean which thing had driven u crazy to buy it and what was your othe options other than multistrada did u also thought of dukati hypermotard
Hey @Shumi the in-depth explanation about used super bike was really helpful. I am learning a lot seeing your videos. I will soon be getting my first super bike most likely Trident or 650z. I personally love the look of bikes from 2010 era. I found out a biker is selling GSXR 1000 2008 model. His price expectation is around 5. But given that the model is 12 year old, how advisable is this ? I don’t have any mechanic friend, will try to find one but lets say if it’s in prime condition, based on its age and BS6 compliance and green tax, would this be advisable? What are your thoughts ? Please let me know, would love your opinion on this. Thank you.

I personally am a bit of a OCD type of a guy, which made me buy a new baker express interceptor 650 in august 2020(last month). Love it with all my heart, but it was not the one I actually fancied. Hey pd, i owned a z800 before, now confused between an used triple rs and ninja 1000 as both are on the same price range in used market. Most of my rides are on twisty mountains.

Hey Shumi, this information is really great.🔥 I hope in this series you are going to demonstrate some walk around of bike regarding what parts to check on used bikes.
Instead, we would recommend you bring along a trusted mechanic while checking the motorcycle. The mechanic would be able to give you a much better insight.
Superb video Shumi! ❤️ If a used motorbike that I'm planning to buy fails the diagnostic and mechanic tests, then, do I bear the associated costs? If yes, won't it be a huge recurring cost borne by me if several used bikes fail the aforesaid tests before I decide to buy a decently running used bike?
Of course. You do the tests at your expense to ensure you get a good one. And not every bike you see will be a good one. Better to have spent that money discovering that before the purchase than to spend 10x the money after buying a bad one no?
These podcasts were so informative and also those IGTV.. A perfect road-map for us to fulfill our dreams of owning big bike without having any regrets... Having one question outside the topic covered here, it just popped in my head.
