"Wow, 50 years ago I was in L.A. getting ready for the release of my first solo album, Alone Together. I’ve played these songs over the years at every single show and I've felt connected singing them to you. I re-recorded Alone Together purely because I love this album. Most of it stays pretty true to the original scores. Interestingly enough, the song I changed the most is ‘World In Changes’. Timeless. I worked with Dave while he was signed to CBS in te 70's. It was in SF. (We just Disagree) had been released as the Single.Our Branch simply was blown away by the Production and Vocal clarity so it was not too hard to convince Radio to jump on it. Dave is a true Artist I remember a very nice grateful guy.The same with Bonnie D&B were so good
with such great material and think of all those who jumped in Clapton,Harrison,Leon, prob Carl Radel,Bramlett himself was a complete monster.I think we signed D&B as well.I think Rita Coolidge was there as well.

Alone Together was one of the most prolific vinyl record albums of our time I'm so happy to be part of a generation that Dave Mason songwriter and musician existed

Great question on the vocals consistency. One of the things that surprised me recently was how strong Dave’s vocals were going back even to 1973-1974 or so. I was expecting similar vocals to the original Alone Together, but he was singing so well!, maybe even better than today. I wish they would release some of those shows if they had good quality audio available. That 73-74 era was even more impressive than the Certified Live performance.
I’ve seen Dave probably 20 times over the years since 1977. He has never hit an off-key note!
