It surprises me how many people do not consider using the nail file perpendicular to the tool. When you do that, the bottle opener and the keyring isnt in the way at all. Of course, you should still have the phillips driver fully deployed for rigidity.

Mine broke in the same place in the same way after a comparable period of time. Mine was carried a lot but used little. I was surprised when it quit working one day while opening it. It didn’t break in use so much as it just stopped opening properly.

Great little tool for small life emergencies. As you said it doesn't replace screwdriver when you need to build IKEA furniture set but 100% will work to tighten small screw that is just a little lose or open a package at work. Which is all I need from my edc. All other things will see me using bigger tools but also I rarely build IKEA tables without preparation:)

Hi mate. Haha, yeah sorry about that. Crazy couple of months at work plus moving house so haven't had any time to film. Got some time off now though so more videos in the pipeline!

For me the warranty means little to nothing if I have to pay half the price I paid for the tool as shipping costs. So, I chose the Dime instead of the perhaps better Squirt PS4. A mini tool that I won't mind if it breaks... 😏

The autofocus really interfered with an otherwise great review. I just went ahead and purchased one. Thanks for making this review.

Tbh I prefer the aesthetics of the LM Squirt (mine is black) and the fact that it's more compact, as well as the toolset, and the fact that it's made in USA. However I only bought it because I found it on sale as a ''second'' at £28 - second in quotation marks because it just has an engraving overwritten i.e. ground out on one of the handles and even that is done very neatly so it doesn't impair the aesthetics or the function of it. I wouldn't have shelled out the normal price of upwards of £40 though. As a second pocket / keyring multitool I plumped for the Nextool Flagship Mini which is imo as good as the LM, some features are better like the Phillips SD on it and the openers, as well as the blade being a bit larger and with stronger backsprings, although it isn't quite as compact as the Squirt.
The Dime has a lot of positive aspects but I don't really need a third mini multitool and I don't want to start collecting!

Yeah I am in the UK. The knife laws are a bit limiting hence my focus on small, non-locking knives.
