you should use the ground pound when they circle you n u got no eneergie, the time of the animation give you enaugh to cast your sling/tendons same for close comabts in small areas, just jump spam it gives u time control and desorganise em, you can help you with your map when they surround you
okay the mods they using is not a mod smoke grenades u only get them at mission crash boom bang and u find a chest near the train yard next to killing the bandits u have 2 smoke grenades and the one where they see ur spawing area is not a mod u can go there srry xb1 players and pc players i only have ps4
those people were using a stupid smoke flare which can only be occupied using developer tools on pc ( smoke flares are mixture of regular flare and smoke and it can destroy the nest too )

I move as fast as any other hunter, fov is just a look change, if you want to check how it works, get your camera, and record a footage where you are walking, first time with 50mm lens, later with 24mm lens, you will see the difference, same with FOV, it just looks as if I were faster

The modded smoke grenades were one hitting the nests, that's the real deal.
