this scent is something else. I have the same feeling about it, it smells like money/wealth. I try my best to wear it and hopefully it's not wearing me:) needs to find an occasion to wear it as well. I'm especially happy about that it's somehow got under the radar and it's not mentioned too often in the fragrance community, so it's not hyped and worn by many.
I have tried both La Panthere Eau de Parfum and La Panthere Parfum. I preferred the latter a little bit more. I ended up buying a full bottle. Love wearing it. Highly recommend that you try the Parfum if you like the Eau De Parfum.
If you want a panther bottle without having to commit to a full size, Cartier has a miniature panther bottle in a spray that looks just like the big bottle and comes in a little box just like the big one tucked in a soft white pouch embossed with the Cartier logo. It would be so cute next to your bonsai tree.

So i got a sample of this maybe 2 yrs ago? And i really really liked it. I used the sample up super quickly. Lol. And I just recently got another sample of it and was really excited to try it again. (Ive almost bought a full bottle many times but I'm trying to only buy travel size or decants due to how much i already have.) So I was super interested to hear what you'd say. And the crazy thing is that I feel like you described this scent perfectly!!! When you said champagne and classy those are exact adjectives Ive thought when smelling it!! Its so sophisticated!! Like a mature and refined woman would wear it. And its so unique to me. I couldn't name a scent that its similar too and at this point I've smelled hundreds and hundreds. Also if i had just saw the notes it wouldnt have been something I'd blind buy. So I'm glad i got to try it. I agree about the gardenia being prominent, and i also feel like the oakmoss is prominent as well. Maybe the rhubarb or strawberry adding a slight fruity sweetness in the background? But yeah its lovely. But not something I'd see a younger girl wearing. More mature. Thanks for reviewing!! 😊
I clicked on the video so fast. I love La Panthere! I finally bought a bottle. I am loving it. And yes, it feels very formal and extremely elegant to me. Beautiful and feminine fragrance. 💗💗
I love this perfume, I agree that it is classy and elegant. I got mine a couple years ago as a blind buy. When I first sprayed it I was worried I had made a mistake, but as soon as it hit my skin it was divine. I find it has some similarity to Narciso EDP which is a favourite of mine. I also have the Edition Soir and fine it quite similar in the dry down, it doesn't have the fruitiness I notice in the opening of the original.
i originally wanted to get that edp version, but went ahead for the more affordable edt version and i am IN LOVE... i use it as my work scent... it has pineapple.. and it is just a beautiful light fruity floral.... i know what you mean by feeling kinda underdressed while wearing a fragrance... :D like when i used Midnight Rose even for the gym hahahaha
One of the only perfumes in my collection that I went through more than one bottle, it's class in a bottle, a compliment getter. This is back up worthy, I have a feeling this will be discontinued at some stage soon!

@@a2zin125 hi! You would love the legére for summertime or hotter days as it’s lighter, cleaner, and less mossy. It has a fizzy, airy quality but it still smells like La Panthere. Definitely add it to your collection!
I had this perfume and truly appreciate its greatness. Had a love for rich smelling perfumes from the start. Also loved chopard -happy diamonds (discontinued) and givenchy- Ysatis which are in the same style. The gardenia in la panthere ultimately made me decide to sell/give away the bottle because it transformed into something heady/sexy and almost animalic on my skin. Prefer to wear bottega veneta for the classy rich vibe at the moment.

I love this one but it’s definitely mature! It actually reminds me of my grandmothers cold cream but you know a super nice fragrance. I get the leather notes 💯
This perfume is sublime. There are many flankers. I have both the perfume version and the edp (the perfume has patchouli which this one does not), and love them both. But, I have to admit I lean more toward the edp for some reason, guess I am not too crazy about patchouli.

I bought the perfume variety box from Macy's and this was included. I sprayed it on me once this morning before work, and I feel like Dominique Deveraux. I don't think I'll wear it during the day again, it's a very heavy, sexy scent! Very "satin robe." 😂
This is a very complicated scent. You have to be very secure and very sure of who you are if your gonna wear this beauty. This fragrance is a hell of fragrance and it sure it’s not for everyone. Is very feminine and very elegant this is class in a bottle.

I totally agree. IMHO Cartier perfumes are more interesting than Chanel, and Guerlain.
Cartier La Panthere (the EDP formulation) is elegance AND wisdom in a bottle. La Panthere isn't just a perfume, it's a life strategy.

I agree, would look great with the small tree. That's the size I have, 15 ml, and I really like it as a mini and the sprayer is good.
This is a fantastic fragrance. Super elegant and great performance. Long time fave of mine, I feel so “together” with this on.

I smelled this perfume at my doctors office on the pharmacist... its very good and rather strong. I love it!!!

I think cartier and hermes are soo underrated. I have a few samples from them and all smells elegant and sophisticated

Maybe it’s just me it smells like something old ladies would wear. I don’t care for it really.
Unfortunately, this perfume gives me an instant headache. I wish I could love it like everyone else, but it’s too strong for me. I sold my bottle.
