On the older Batman/Superman crossover films, there was a scene where Batman had a bag of Kryptonite being able to weaken Superman. Either Superman is getting a lot stronger and tolerant handling the Kryptonite substance, or that intro scene was just a cheap way to make Superman look stronger than ever.
People expect a lot out of these games and will get extremely pissed if it's not the way they imagined it. The devs try their best to make good games for us to enjoy. Game design is hard as hell and we should commend them for their effort

That's it, I'm definitely getting this game now. I'm also glad the roster has a lot of obscure DC characters and villains instead of just being filled with Batman villains. Even if I'm gonna miss Deathstroke...he was my best character behind Green Arrow. :'(
Though it looks like they replaced him with Deadshot, just like they replaced Nightwing with Damian and Killer Frost with Captain Cold.
I'm also a bit sad they removed Shazam, and yet...still managed to return Black Adam?! And no Raven?!😭

It's just a design flaw and prt of the animation. The game thinks the character has health left but then realizes it doesnt.
It's not the summon energy theory because this doesnt happen after a throw or a normal move

Well in-universe, only Doomsday, Superman and Cyborg Superman have whitstood the effect. The beams can be blocked by Wonder Woman's divine bracelets.
Omega beams are night-irresistible because they disintegrate the target on contact.

Actually, I always felt that the degradation of Joker's image started with Heath Ledger's look in The Dark Knight. Ever since the grunge look, he's never been the same.
Don't get me wrong, Heath Ledger was amazing...but the look was just too Brandon Lee-ish for my taste.
Nobunaga Meh, I don't agree. I think he still distinctly looked like the Joker in TDK, they changed up his appearance enough that it felt different but still kept enough of the classic Joker flair. The facial scars, messy hair and dirty make up on Ledger's Joker still fit the character. It's when Suicide Squad and Injustice 2 hit that they started adding weird shit that just felt out of line with the character. Like Gang Banger bravado, hipster haircuts and constantly showing off his abs just doesn't suit the Joker.
