In this episode:
"If we asked you to kill somebody would you do it without asking any questions?", Carmine Fatico, aka Charlie Wagons talking to Fat Andy Ruggiano at 24 years old.
Anthony shares stories about his father Fat Andy Ruggiano. Hear about Fat Andy's childhood, how he was a mamma's boy, who his friends were growing up Murder Inc., how he got his start in the Italian Mafia by robbing card games (sounds familiar almost like a sopranos episode) of Carmine Fatico. Albert Anastasia referred to Anthony Ruggiano Sr/Fat Andy as "The Kid." Anthony talks about the insanity of life in the mob where murder is required to become a member.
Tony The Sheik, who ran Don Peppe's, i puts a beef in because Fat Andy robbed his card game. Tony The Sheik to Albert Anastasia, "You wanna make this kid? He's a fucking animal. He robbed my poker game!" Anastasia looks at Fat Andy, smirks, "He is an animal? What do you want me to straighten out fucking priests."
Anthony Jr talks about being in prison when the best series ever, The Sopranos, came out on HBO. How they must have talked to wise guys due to the amazing stories of the show
A story that shows how the mafia treats a made member of the Columbo family that had mental illness... with a bullet.
Anthony shares stories of celebrities and how they gravitated towards his father Fat Andy.
How Frank Sinatra eventually met Fat Andy at Gilly's after a "No thank you" at first. Frank Sinatra asks Fat Andy who his favorite singer was and he reply was not Old Blue Eyes.
Diana Ross & Richard Simmons of the rock band kiss sit at Anthony Jr's table at The Ritz. The Ritz was a famous night club in the 70 and 80s

I hope to see these longer videos more often. Keep up the good work.
Thank you

@@AnthonyRuggianogreat channel and did you know or your dad any mafia guys from Pittsburgh??
@@AnthonyRuggiano just curious, since it was against the rules to mess with a mobsters daughter or wife, how come it was okay for you to date Jimmy Burke's daughter but it wasn't okay for John Gotti to sleep with Aniel Dellacroce's stepdaughter?
Me and my fiancé are alive today because of your help in our recovery! I just happened to stumble across this and almost cried! This wasn’t your name when we met you at Victory, so I’m not sure what made me click! You knew me and Ryan when were dating and first in recovery. We are now 2 years clean, living in Alabama, buying a house, have a dog, and amazing careers. We are truly unbelievably blessed. He still wishes to this day you would’ve said yes to being his sponsor! I hope your still yelling “GROUPP TIMEEE” to everyone, learned how to go over the train tracks in the van a little slower, and found someone else to steal popsicles from lol! I hope you are doing well! Ryan will definitely be keeping up with your videos! 💗
You should make some recovery content! You could help so many people who are in recovery!

Anthony is a terrific story teller. He describes everything so well, you feel like you are back in time and there. Its like watching a great gangster movie for free. And he is an extremely likeable and obviously sincere guy. I think he should take acting lessons and start doing some wise guy movies.
Anthony definitely knows how to tell a story, go off to a side story or back study story and then bring you back to the main story without losing you. it's almost like watching a movie listening to him. The level of knowledge he has about mob history that was way before his time is amazing. His Dad was the real deal, did his thing and kept a low profile. Like Niel Dellacroce, everyone in the mob knew who they were, but the public only knows about the guys that get caught.
Well said.
I agree, he is a very understandable guy
Anthony Ruggiano-I want to be a Reformed Asshole just like you
Really like ruggiano jr. He doesn’t have the ego and grandiose behavior basically every other former mob guy on UA-cam does. I suspect it’s because he’s in recovery. If you’re really going to succeed in recovery you need to check your ego and live a certain way.
You could do an hour video and I would listen to it straight through. You a dimond in the ruff. Keep producing content because your going to be a star on UA-cam when more people find out about you.
My grandfather grew up in a tenement in the Brownsville/ENY area with 17 of his cousins living in the same building when the family came over from Ireland. As a kid he ushered at Ebbit's field, and drove a trolly on Flatbush Ave prior to being drafted into the Army and sent to the Pacific to fight, where word of his toughness followed him back home to Brooklyn. He was well respected and loyal and had some good friends who looked out for him in Brooklyn when he came home. He ended up managing a Key Food owned by some of those same friends for many years. I really love these stories about Fat Andy and Tony Lee and that whole generation is fascinating to me. Great interview.
I love anthony’s storys! I could listen to them all day
Had a blast helping film this. Anthony is a class act.
Anthony Ruggiano jr seems like a good guy. I truly enjoy listening to his stories from his past life! Keep on keeping on Mr Ruggiano
This interview was the best!
I must of missed this video. Andy this make my morning like a cigarette with my coffee. All the best my friend.
Good stuff as always Anthony! I much prefer the stories (like this one) w/a little more length. They're more memorable than 3-5 minute videos in my opinion.

@@AnthonyRuggiano Thanks, Anthony!
Great that you have the confidence to be comfortable with the microphone & camera. Makes the story come to life. Cheer's !
"Richard" Simmons from KISS, hahahahaha this is the best episode ever. You ROCK Anthony!
Good luck with the show, Ant!! With the huge success of Sammy Gravano & Michael Franzese channels, nowadays, there's basically an *ENDLESS* supply of channels from wise guys. Some guys, were higher ranking members; some,...did street stuff. But nevertheless, there's _literally_ *THOUSANDS* upon *THOUSANDS* of hours of videos, on UA-cam, alone!! And quite frankly, I've checked out many of them, and _most_ of them are,....well..... *BORING* ,....or *BLATANT LIARS* ,....or *BOTH* !! Anthony is one of the good ones!! Tells the stories the way they should be!! No *B.S.* ,....no exaggerating, straight-forward & to-the-point!! Keep 'em coming, my friend!! Won't be long until the subscriber count is into the 10's of thousands!! 👍👌
Thank you

Richard Simmons from KISS LOL !!! Don wrinkles the comedian!!!!!
I love his way -better - those names sound so great when he says it
We need all these gambino men to get round a table together..Andy ...Sammy ....Mikey ect
Wouldn’t that be fun
Thanks for this great story funny and
Interesting
Def Anthony is def knowledgeable, I’d say more so than Michael Franzese even though Michael was a made guy and eventually a capo. The reason being is Fat Andy was very involved in Anthony’s life and shared stories with him he probably shouldn’t have. Sonny was away awhile when Michael decided to go into that life and I don’t believe Sonny ever shared with Michael about murders he committed like Anthony’s father did. But the bottom line is I don’t think either of their dads woulda been happy about cooperating with the govt and Franzese’s father was still alive a long time after Michael did. The Mafia is a different animal today and that’s evident by the amount of cooperators who aren’t even in WITSEC who roam anywhere they want and even some live back in their old neighborhoods. The Mafia is not dead, it’s just nowhere close to what it used to be. Even Anthony made a funny remark by saying “ You used to have to commit a murder to be made, now they make you if you know how to make a good cup of coffee” lol and that should tell anyone with half a Brain that the mob is shot out and it won’t ever be back.
There was another scene in the Sopranos that may have mentioned Fat Ange. When Paulie meets Carmine Sr. and Carmine asks him if his dad was the one that got hit by a trolley.
Andy and Sammy the Bull are my two favorite storytellers about the life.
Man I love to hear stories about Anastasia!
New subscriber love your channel peace
Sheeran was at the Copacabana that night. It was definitely not Sheeran according to Michael Franzese who was around in the Colombos at the time. Apparently it was Carmine Sonny Pinto DiBiase who was called there by Joe Yacovelli who went on the lam afterwards and they were notified by Joe Luperelli who spotted Gallo in Little Italy…
Andy great show, my dad also u to make which he called pastavasu did u call it bostavasu ?
Serious man fat Andy salute 🇮🇹
Don Rickels. Not Wrinkles.
good inerview
Italian-"Food' for thought....I was born in 67
In South Ozone Park on Rockaway Blvd. My father was born and grew up on Rockaway and 116th Street over the Rainbow 🌈 Bar and Grill. His father and him then me and my brother were horseman at Aqueduct Belmont and Saratoga. My mother Grew up In Richmond Hill North and family was in funeral business for many generations in the area. My Father was an All City Football Center at John Adam'sin Late 50s and we all played Lynvets football. We moved to How'beach in 68. Moved in 1980. Me and my older Brother, the only ones alive these days, NEVER heard the name Fat Andy and we had friends in Ozone Park, Woodhaven, Cityline and East New York so we were on Liberty and Jamaica Ave all the time from the late 1960s to 1980. We also knew everyone who worked at The Track and more or less
The patrons and gamblers by face and sometimes their rep . As hardworking , law abiding civilians,, we knew some connected people as friends and neighbors and we read the papers. There
Is a reason we never heard of him.....He must have been an Old School incognito
Boss who kept a low profile - which probably kept him out of jail alot longer than some of his fellow gangsters. Thanks for Sharing Anthony. Fascinating. Matt
What about the movie CRAZY JOE (1974) ?? It also shows the Joe Gallo assassination at the end of the movie.
Wow Andy Buffalino was at your wedding. He must of really liked you. Howabout did your dad or you know Carlos Mucello of New Orleans? I really like the way those older guys behaved. They had respect.
Rip Fat Andy 🕊
I've wathced so many of his podcasts, and I crack up everytime he says Joe Pesci
Anthony did you ever have any dealings with the Chicago outfit or did your father speak of them?
Frank Costello saw a Psychiatrist, Can u do a Video on founding members getting away with crazy stuff like
Costello-psychiatrist
Bonnano- boss hit/ writing book
Gambino- passing over ONeal 4 Paul as boss
There's a few others but show I saw glosses over it.
Kool podcast 👍
somebody should make a tv show about your father and you and your brother growing up and meeting all these famous people . but at the same time there could be scene's of your father doing all the mob stuff he did and then coming home to you and your brother getting into trouble . your like the forest gump of the mafia .
Not too mention ...in that Soprano episode that it's told that Tony Soprano,Jackie Aprile and Sylvio Dante robbed a Feech LaManna poker game .....and those 3 were given passes but it had to be that Tony's Pops was Johnny Boy Soprano which was a Caporegime in The Demeo Borgata and also Tony's Uncle Corrado "Junior" Soprano was a Soldier in Johnny Boy Soprano's Crew ASWELL so you know they both spoke up for Tony,Jackie and Sylvio.....and also part of that story was Ralphy Cifaretto was also suppose to go with Tony,Jackie and Sylvio but he happen to be suffering with an STD ....and his pipe was leaking like a busted line under the sink so he wasn't up for that come up and the rest is history...at least in the story line of David Chase's hit series on HBO "The Sopranos"🤦💯🤷
Gene Simmons would kick your butt for calling him Richard Simmons that was awesome I love the show and thanks
POWER!! People love it the mafia had it totally and completely!!
Surreal to think mobbed up guys hung out at punk rock clubs like the Ritz.
Andy great show, why you keep fighting with the microphone ?
Mr Ruggiano tells the stories with style …. mr ruggiano i just have a question in The LIFE do people call the boss the don or the godfather or is it just in the movies? Love your podcast sir, its a question ive been wanting to ask someone in the life for a while…
He has got some good stories man
Gotta get some facts straight in here
I’ll sponsor you I’m about to be really big out here in North Carolina general construction I’ll keep you posted
Thank you Nicholas AnthonyRuggianojr@gmail.com
Richards Simmons from KISS lol. I'd rather sit with Richard than Gene. Thanks for the laugh ✌
I like this guy.. he seems to really be telling the truth. People can usually smell the bullshit when someone is lying but I don't get that from this fella.
Anthony I have a couple questions for you and maybe you could do a episode on this we always hear about what the guys did the mobsters why did so many of them end up broke,,, didn’t they believe in saving money and investing it or at least keeping it in a jar so the IRS didn’t have to tax it,,, I’ve listened to several podcasts and they all kind of and the same that a lot of these mopsters are members of the mafia were broke at the end of their time in the mafia why
Don rinkles is right
Whos don rinkles?
My oldest paternal uncle was also born n 1926. And no lie, he was called Andy! OMG, could we be related! I've no priors, tell me where the family fortune is hidden and I'll meet you in the Maldives 😎
Sonny franzese didn't like joe gallo either.
My dad's best friend was a street guy in Detroit they called him wape
wop - it was short for with out papers - it was a slur basically calling someone a refugee
Jackie Sr and Tony ....didn't get Made becuz They robbed that Poker Games....they were in luck becuz of Tony's Pop had Enuff juice and was liked by a few other HeavyWeights🧐💯🤷
Fat Andy wasn't that fat. There was a Sicilian mafioso who was imprisoned in Sicily. He was well over 400 pounds, and he was actually released from prison because, according to the prison guards, he was too fat for jail. Look it up, as I know it sounds like a joke.
Thw mafia treats mental health with a bullet.
The attraction to that lifestyle is the perception that guys in that life can do whatever they want and get away with it. Power, money and gorgeous women ain’t a bad combo! I know I’d sign up if it wasn’t for all that getting killed and prison stuff!😂
The mob treats mental health with a bullet…😂😂😂😂
I thought Frank Costello saw a psychiatrist but I think it was after he retired? Can’t remember where I heard this but I think it was an FBI file.
You have to remember ( Tony Sirico) Pauly "Walnuts" was a made man in the mafia before he started acting and he was one of Tony's closes guys in the Saprano's so he could've told someone some real stories about different situations that has happened during his life not to mention they more than likely hung out with gangsters so they could study there mannerisms and the way they talk and everything just so they would know how to play there parts you know
He was not a made guy.
He wasn't a made guy he was an associate
I don't plan on seeing that movie the Offer I seen all the other movies I'm through with the sensationalism of the stories from past I'm old and enough on that.
The lifestyle was a cult with a twisted belief system.
Joe Gallo and a bi-racial 6th family😂 Maybe he was ahead of his time
Did your father have a soft side?Sorry if its a stupid question!
Did he ever have anything to do with anyone from Detroit
Don Wrinkles...lol
This Anthony cumias studio?
No
Would you borrow a large amount of money from someone who you knew was gonna get wacked?
😎
How come at your age your hair is still so dark?
How to learn to fight fists
I'm also sick of Whitey Bulger he was a monster and of discussion. Just because my last name might be of a certain heritage doesn't mean I'm one of them.😡
I thought Murder Incorporated was Jewish gangsters.
Jewish and Italian
Y’all are absolutely the bad guys there is nothing good about that life. If it was you would still be living it
Word was Gotti didn't like fat andy
