I had to stop coffee for a surgery 😭😭😭 so I went on a process of drinking coffee - half caff coffee - decaf coffee and lastly I drank something called Caffix. It’s a chicory root drink that tastes EXACTLY like coffee! So, so amazing! If you, or anyone else is looking to decrease caffeine (or start a night time latte tradition) I recommend!

Coffee can actually be super pro-metabolic if you have if after a big breakfast or lunch with sugar (I like real maple syrup) and fat (whole milk for me) cuz it balances the caffeine. I used to also get super anxious and fidgety after coffee but changing my habit to having it like this changed the game for me!

Ok as someone who can’t live without my coffee therapy, find yourself a really good decaf coffee! I have awful anxiety and am often espresso depresso, so drinking coffee would be great for the first 10 minutes until the caffeine kicked in. Then I’d be a mess 😂 I was totally against decaf at first bc every type I had tried just didn’t taste great. But I finally found a decaf that literally tastes the same as my regular coffee and it’s helped to no end
