    What a great storage container system, Jaquie! You are such an inspiring individual. You never dwell on the negatives of living with chronic illnesses but choose to be positive and thankful for medications and devices to assist you in your daily living. God bless you! 🙏🏻🤗❤️

    It must feel so amazing to be able to do these procedures (IVIG, etc) at home and say that it went great! So proud of you and your journey :) have a safe drive home!!

    I know things with your health haven't been as great. But your looking so much healthier with your weight. It seems like the medical marijuana is helping alot. I'm so happy you found something that works for you.

      That is part of life with chronic illness: Some battles you win while you are still fighting others. You are SO right when you say the MMJ has helped. My GI/weight issues have become much more manageable and for that I am very thankful! Now if we could just get my chronic pain and MCAD under control... Working on it! Always working for more and more stability. :)

      Chronically Jaquie totally understand I'm working on my GI issues, I have several procedures regarding neurological issues coming up. But we have found through previous surgery that I'll loose 20 lbs in a week if I take pain meds of any sort even iv Tylenol. I'm working on getting all of my things worked on it's only been a year. So I'm thankful everything has been going that fast in diagnosing. It's just my insurance company doesn't want to pay for anything I've had multiple referrals for iv infusions get denied. Even when I was hospitalized for a week and I would faint still but I'd recover much better than I would without. We're talking 3 hour nap recovery vs 3 day of solid sleeping. So I know it helps just hopefully my hemotologist or the endocrinologist will finally be able to get through to my insurance company. Your port videos have helped me so much in feeling comfortable with that decision so thank you so much for the help. It's hard to find a chronic illness UA-camr that has great quality content is upbeat easy to watch and still educational. So thank you so much for making content it has definitely helped me talk with family about diagnosis and testing.🙂

    I enjoy watching your videos. I find a lot of videos on here that while they cheer me up don't typically allow me to relate in any way shape or form. So when I found your channel I got so excited. I personally, while not as chronic, for lack of a better term, have the chronic pain illness referred to as Fibromyalgia. I'm in a support group on Facebook but finding your channel genuinely made me so happy. I'm still in the early diagnosis stage and still have a long way to go but have a few other things going on that also take its toll on my body and I love the way you take on every challenge that you face. You're a major inspiration to not just me but I know so many other people as well. Keep it up and as always keep moving forward. :)

    Just so you know- IV medications that come in a dark-colored glass vial have to be protected from light. It’s great that most of your meds are in the solid blue plastic section as that provides additional protection from light. It would be good if you could find a way to give extra protection to your heparin, too. Perhaps your home health company sometimes sends things in a dark brown plastic bag? That is for light protection- you could save one of those. A cardboard or plastic box works well, too. Don’t be overly concerned as the dark vial itself is protection for the medication but storing it in the dark is even better.
    Sorry to be so wordy but pharmacist mom couldn’t help herself. 😊

    • @ChronicallyJaquie
      @ChronicallyJaquie  6 років тому +6

      My HHC said the Heprin does not need to be protected from light, just the IV vials. At home it is all stored in the dark and so are the bins, we put them in the closet :)

    Thank you for a great video! Although I can't travel my mobility problems require me to keep things nearby. These are great ideas for organizing all the stuff I want close at hand. Much better than the jumbled mess I have now.

    Hey Jacquie, how often do you change your tubie-pads? I'm asking because I'm going to order some for one of my students who has a tough time keeping the gauze pad on their tummy under their g-tube button! I think they would be a great option for this student and I'm trying to see how many the student will need. Thanks so much, love your videos, wishing you and your family the best! Kisses to Harlow :)

    They cut off my port supplies and I can't get them to give them back unless I'm infusing and I have the worst Dr in the history of doctors. I have been intubated 11 times, four times already the ambulance and life flight told my dad had I not already been accessed they would not have been able to say me. I'm so frustrated with Kentucky drs! Sorry for the rant. Also I have one of those same bins I found through you!

    How do you travel to different states with your MMJ? Or I should say how do you or DO you travel across state lines with your MMJ? Because what I understand and I can be wrong MMJ though legal in some states is illegal in others. Even though you obtain it legally?
    Praying for traveling mercy be safe on your ride home.

    • @ChronicallyJaquie
      @ChronicallyJaquie  6 років тому +7

      I just had it in my backpack. I'm not saying this is correct but I didn't really think about the implications until we were already well into our trip. But if I had not taken it with me, I would have gone back to not being able to eat hardly at all and puking relentlessly. With it, I could enjoy my trip.

    • @chronicobserver5534
      @chronicobserver5534 6 років тому +2

      It's something that people aren't aware of because you obtain it legally in your state but it's illegal in other states. (which is insane to me) I know you packed your medicine, everything you need to feel better & enjoy your trip and since MMJ to you is medicine I'm sure you didn't give it a second thought. I would've taken it too. I'm happy for you it's good to see you out & traveling.

      It was unlisted for a few days (meaning only those with a link can view it). But, sometimes a glitch happens and others can watch without the link before I make it public. Not really a bother or anything, just a UA-cam thing. Or maybe you are thinking of the video from several months ago where I first showed these bins.
