Besides everyone hyping Inspiration Builds: I think it is important to mention that the inspiration builds are only relevant if you craft consumeables or crafting goods. As e.g. JC and you focus on Neck (Elemental Lariat for example) you want to max out all flat skill gains first to provide 405ilvl Necks and after that you will need the inspiration tree to max out the ilvl of it.
100% if you are going for armor or weapons there’s other best paths, and as time goes on, Inspiration will be beat by resourcefulness in some recipes as people gain more skill, but inspiration is super valuable right now if you are looking for current gold and profit
You can't craft 405 necks 100% without insights. Inspiration is pretty good for Lariats.

Each week, i take my enchanter and send work orders out to all my other toons (for bracers of prof equipment) to quickly get them done and funnel DE gear to them.
Work orders, why? Is there a weekly work order quest for enchanting?
@@HsgSilvera other way around, b/c the enchanter is sending out the work orders, my tailors, blacksmiths, jewelcrafter etc, all have their weekly work orders to do, then i just DE the mats (mostly to make vibrant wildercloth)

Excellent video as always. For your profit example you forgot to mention the other 80% of rank 2 crafts that can be sold off at a loss to recoup extra gold!
Yea! You’ll receive 20 * 1900 = 38,000g + value of the 80 enchants. I wrote them in on the equation, just didn’t show the full math! But you are exactly right, the lower quality enchants will help you out even if they technically are losing you gold

Hi Penguin, you succeded in all the thing. Half of the things I was already doing them, so I have your confirmaron I am in the correct way. In addition, your explanation helped me understand the most advance ones like how inspiration works in bulk crafting. Quartz looks very useful so I will be downloading it. Do you know if there is an addon to mass autodisenchant instead of clicking the tsm destroy button for each one? I guess that's why I have great proffit on Vibrant Shards. None wants to stay all day clicking a button. ;)
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! In terms of a macro, there’s not one. You have to click per item or you’d get into the zone of automation which is against TOS - it’s still technically clicking a button, or scrolling your mouse wheel but in TSM settings you can turn on scrolling with your mouse wheel to destroy items which may be a bit better than spamming
Hello, thanks for the guide, With leatherworking, I specialised in the leatherworking discipline trying to create reagents/drums and fierce armor kits, for drums, as it doesn't have different levels, its an easy choice to put the secondary stats of our tool into resourcefulness. With Armor kits, how would I determine whether +92 resourcefulness is better than +92 inspiration? Considering that all the money is made from 3 stars with the armour kits.
If you can’t guarantee Q3 armor kits, inspiration is way more valuable
Great vid as always. Do you think now is still good to start a new inspiration build on enchanting ? On a new 70 char I mean, because my own enchant spec I chose the wrong tree.
Restarting can be a lot worse than just adding onto your current build, it really depends on the state of your setup. If you want, you can join the discord and send a picture of your build and we can see what your best course of action would be, or explain what you did here. I've put many points in "wrong" categories in other professions and I am still okay.. really comes down to how many points and if you are locked out of anything/stuck
@@Penguinr2gt I have not put any points in the inspiration tree as you have showed here, and have not taken that spec... So I would have to reach 100 skill before taking another tree...
Is anyone able to tell me if it is possible to craft chilled rune or runed writhebark on quality 3 because I have a skill on 243 and need 260 and I don't know how to make the last 17 points pls help
does the enchantment scale when you apply it, or will your tool get better when you level up?
I havent leveled a character with an enchant applied to see if it continues to scale, so I can't say with confidence if it continues to scale or not
so does this mean as the xpac goes on people can have every tree in every profession slot maxed?
Yep! The only thing stopping us from maxing everything is knowledge points since they are time-gated, as we get more and more we will eventually have all traits filled
Great vid as always penguin. Curious, are you mostly focused on enchanting? Have you had any success spamming trade for work orders? I’m not that interested in that type of gameplay but I also don’t really have a consistent market. Working on r3 burnished inks but I can’t gain skill without work orders and no one wants my r3 staves on my server.
Had some profits with cooking but generally I’ve been having a tough time. I’ve spread myself too thin and spent a ton on useless patterns/basic crafts for professions so now I have little to invest but I’ll figure it out.
Both of my accounts have DF now though but I’m not too sure how leverage that. I’m working on getting enchanting set up properly on an alt and maybe gathering whilst I craft inks. I’ll get there. Just venting a little I guess haha.

I am focused on basically any reagent market - Elemental Scales from Leatherworking, Bolts and Linings from Tailoring, Enchants, Food, Runed Writhebark, Missives, Gems etc. Anything thats region wide I am selling. Im on a lower med pop server and I know theres not really a market for high end gear, at least not right now, so taking advantage of the regional stuff to make plenty of gold!
@@jace4817 these actually went up on my server. They were unprofitable because of the quantity but I might get into this. I’m on a med pop server where not much happens so I’m still trying to figure out what to do.
So because I messed up my enchanting profession tree, can I ditch enchanting and pick it up again and level it to go the path I want? And what about first crafts, will I still get first crafts to get the knowledge points? Also those things that I have been picking up in the world that increase my profession, will I get those still
Only way to restart a profession is to pick it up on another toon. Unlearning and relearning on the same toon saves your specialization paths
When you were showing off the quartz castbar you moved the profession window out of the way... How did you do that?? Mine is fixed and doesn't move.

It technically works just fine but doesn’t have full quality support for DF items making it a bit difficult to use for current content items right now. But the devs are hard at work updating it!

You need to find someone who can recraft it at a higher quality - it all depends on the crafter's skill
You mentioned engineers were special when describing inspiration. Maybe I missed the explanation but why are engineers different?
Engineers have a slightly different inspiration trait. They still have a generic route but their inspiration is grouped with other perks within the same trait. Gathering kind of sucks this expansion. I hope we get regular flying soon. Whenever I go looking for herbs or disturbed dirt/expedition packs. Generally spend more time on the ground waiting for my energy so I can jump in there air to fly and with some of the very large cliffs, I need 2 energy. I am completely max on my dragon flying btw. I wish I could just use my regular mount. Dragon riding is just not fun. I've used flight paths way more this expansion than any expansion since BFA where we didn't get flying until I had quit playing at the end of the expansion.
Are enchants, Flasks and potions regionwide?
Yes, anything that is stackable is sold region wide
You always say that TSM is hour old data and Auctionator is scan based, just change every instance of "dbmarket" in your TSM Operations to use "AtrValue" instead and when you do a scan your price data and crafting costs will be more accurate to the quickly shifting market.
TSM still does not have quality support. Using Auctionator values can help in terms of finding prices but it’s still not in a state where I’d recommend using it even if prices were less volatile
How did you get +22 Skill in Enchanting xd ?

its all pointless since we can't respec our skill points :/ blizzard really ruined it for the none beta players
We’ve all made mistakes with spec points, even beta players like myself. Being able to respec would be way too powerful. The only reason why it hurts so much is because we only have so many total points. As time goes on, we will gain more and more points and we won’t be asking to respec anymore
sucks old world gathering is nerfed due to removal of darkmoon fire water (no longer does anything since dragonflight) lot of old world mats skyrocked in price to
I absolutely hate the new professions and quality stuff. They went too far. Gathering I barely get anything at 100 skill in both mining/herbalism, even though I specced into Finesse AND Perception, I still get rank 1 quality mats, in very small quantities, and very rarely rank 3 stuff. As for crafting professions, it's absolute garbage. Nothing makes sense, and having to level up by crafting orders when no one is actually making orders, or the big chads who already have their professions maxed get to do anything via personal order. What a massive disaster. Rather have BfA style professions with ranks.
Sorry to hear that. When it comes to all professions, skill is more Importsnt than anything else. You can get more skill from. Better tools (+22) and also from putting knowledg points into the general gathering talent node. Should very easily get to around 150-160 total skill with that, which should give you rank 2 min with an decent amount of rank 3s.
I am sorry you feel that way but I have to disagree. I love crafting in games and I feel WoW professions are better than ever. I like the fact that as a tailor, today I am specialized in chronocloth but can't be the same level in azure and may be for other tailor is the other way about. Is like having more proffesions. In time, effort will pay having Knowledge max out and I am sure I will be one of the first ones. I hope you find the way to enjoy professions.
