Brother Burn Victims Playing Like Kids Again

- Brothers Cameron and Jordan survived a house fire after stuffing a toy animal in the oven. Jordan sustained serious burns, while Cameron suffered burns on more than 50% of his body. Both children have received extensive medical attention. Cameron already has had many skin graft surgeries. His recovery may require more. After they began to heal, the brothers came to Ranken Jordan to learn how to walk, read and play like kids again.

My grandson played with matches and I wanted to impress on him just how dangerous it is and what can happen. I showed him the story about Cameron and Jordan and it made an impression on him. Thank you so much for sharing your story! God Bless you and your family.
My son decided today that he was going to play with a lighter... so I brought him to the computer and showed him burning houses and children who were burnt by fires, I hope that this teaches him a lesson...... THANKS FOR SHARING YOU STORY!!!
Poor little souls...the pain they must endure is sickening o think about. I hope they are doing better.
This is a touching story. My two lil cousins got burned tonight during a house fire. One was 3 one was 6! They were asleep and no one could get them out. Fire fighters came && rushed them out the house and rushed them to the hospital. The 3 year old is not burned badly but the 6 year old is burned BAD! They dont know it all happened because they were asleep. They are undergoing major surgery and im so sad. I wish I was there to save them. I feel like its my fault.

I don't know what to feel right now, all I surely knew was the same feeling what that kid will feels the whole life. I have several scars on my both arms, face and lap. causes by a 3rd degree burn that day when I was 12yrs old. for now on, I'm already 24. still looks bad. I feel sad most of the time, insecurity was there ,but I never hide from people. as of now I'm working from a Private company trying to earned much more money but still not enough for surgery. maybe this will take for my whole life , very sad . I wish for that kid to be happy even with that condition. god bless.

My son got burned in 2010 over 35% of his body. He had to learn to walk again also. He was at the NC Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill, NC. They were pretty darn awesome too!

i am crying cuz i am a burn victim and it affects life only because people will actually laugh and point instead of trying to understand .its not a joke and we are just like everyone else but we have scares from an accident . i am 23 now and i was 7 when i got burn by hot boiling oil i have 3rd degree burn. on my left breast left arm coller bone and under my chin. i love myself and god bless to every child that has to go through this.

Had my four year old watch this video he has been amazed with fire and thank you for sharing this he said he wont play with fire anymore

My dad when I was a kid was driving past a old trailer in Houston and noticed smoke and some kids had been playing with matches he ran in and helped pull them out not sure what ever happened but he passed on now
Being burned so significantly would make growing up very difficult and painful.

The video is about our previous patient Cameron and his family that were here for rehabilitation to help his range of motion, decrease excessive scaring and help his family.
Unfortunately we see a lot of similar stories. But, on the flip side, we also get to see a lot of similar happy endings :)

I feel bad for him... I got burned on my finger from a fire poker at camping it really hurt
This breaks my heart... only 2 nights ago while we were sleeping my son was in the bathroom lighting toilet paper on fire and a plastic pop cap if it wasn't for my wife waking up and smelling something who knows what might of happen.... it's so scarey he's only 7 years old he found a lighter somewhere and wanted to try it out he said.. just so thankful my wife woke up I got 2 other small kids we are lucky we are all still here cause when the plastic cap got too hot he panicked and tossed it into the garbage can full of toilet paper lucky there was something wet in the trash from earlier or we might not be having this conversation....😢..tomorrow we are taking him to the fire station to have a talk with them so they can show him what could have happen

My teacher told me a story she said that they wanted to be a fire hero so what they did is get matches throw them all the way over their like really far and then when her mom saw her do that they walked in the yard and her mom caught my teacher trying to do that she was really yung and then her mother got really upset and showed my teacher at the hospital the kids who got burned for doing the exact thing and my teacher ran crying that was when she was little so dont say anything means please she’s an awesome teacher this will show you not to play with fire
i caught my daughty age 11 burning toilet paper in the bathroom i want to teach her the dangers because even if she watches vids like this she see's it as well it didnt happen to her so she dosent care what should i do?
TheBarkyb I’m 13 and I lit toilet paper on fire yesterday. It was so cool to watch. I was right by my sink though so it was under control.
