Something about sherry pie apologise really piss me off the way they mad it all about themselves "me poor me and my mental health and not being able to love my self please don't fire me" .

My best guess about the girl's mother catfishing her is something like a sort of Munchausen by proxy. She's inflicting mental anguish on her daughter to keep her paranoid and fearful of her peers and affect her ability to handle friendships and social situations and put herself in the comforter, the safety, the rescuer, the only person her daughter can trust, to keep her from growing up normal, having a social life, after school activities, maybe a job, and graduating and moving away etc and she's also targeting the bf and his family to pressure him into making the obvious decision to distance himself from the daughter who is clearly the lightning rod here or atleast becoming angry and withdrawn himself and letting the extreme stress and the mental state these kids are in dissolve the relationship, and further torment and isolate the daughter, leaving only reliable old Mommy dearest.
I feel pretty good about this theory. I think it's the only possible explanation
It doesn't sound like there's anyone in this home but the mother and daughter, and while plenty of parents happen to be employed at a high school that eventually their kids will attend, it seems this woman was deliberately pushing herself into the picture for every part of this girl's life and was both obnoxiously overbearing as well as pulling puppet strings in order to make absolutely sure that nobody would want to get to know her daughter bad enough to put up with the shit storm she comes with, especially as her mental health declines and she becomes paranoid and on edge around anyone except mommy
This messed up situation boggled my mind at first but the more i thought about it, the more i came to a theory similar to yours.. It's such a F'ed situation. I feel so bad for the daughter. She must feel like she can't trust ANYONE. Like she's completely alone, that no one likes her, everyone hates her behind her back, etc. Etc. Her mom has done so much damage to that girls life and to her mind.. I hope things get a lot better now because she deserves happiness without all this toxic BS
Honestly I don't think she has nearly any if the markers for factitious disorder imposed on another. Mental illness is definitely there, but she might have a personality disorder or some sort of compulsion. It also seems like she might've resented or hated her daughter for an undisclosed reason. I understand why you think it's similar to Munchausen's but it's more than unlikely when you look at the actual criteria for the disorder. Seems like she just let some sick impulses win for some reason or another.

She catfishes one of the original catfishes coworkers to see if it’s true, pisses off the original catfish, who kills his coworker. The female catfish manipulating them all was a mom, using her daughters photos.

The last person was really incredible to hear. The fact she was able to get over a million dollars, and only got 3.5 years in jail. She only paid back 750k out of millions. That's insane. All of those people will never see any of that money.
