Very interesting video Ben. Great to watch and listen as there was lots happening. I can never manage to speak that quickly on requests and readbacks.

Very nice mate! I noticed that there is no flight director. Is that a requirement of the course?

      Yeh you aren’t allowed it!

What did the controller say passing you to Gloucester when leaving controlled airspace at 27:30? Sounded like clear to QSR the frequency? Obviously not but couldn’t make it out.

christopher wilson ,Chris, It's QSY, code for changing to a different frequency en route.

Ah ok thanks. Ive heard them say that to other traffic when i go flying, never quite got what they said. Seems to take the same time so say “changing to xxx” as it does “qsy”.

Another great video. Do you have to prebook these RNAV approaches etc, and do you have to pay for them?

The costs are built into the MEIR course with Aeros, and yes you have to book the approaches which can be quite tricky as it’s a busy training environment and sometimes you can’t get what you like!

Ben you should set up an Amazon affiliate link account for all of the camera gear you use in your description. You deserve to make money on these videos and could be a few quid towards more flight time.
