How To #19: Remove Shift Boot From 2024 Acura Integra Type-S!

I've been needing to take off my shift knob, so I can make sure the custom bolt I purchased can be used to make a custom shift knob, thanks to my buddy Russ Lyman.
Getting the boot off initially is a huge pain in the ass. I tried various pry/pick tools with no luck. Finally I decided to use two butter knives and that worked with some force.
**DISCLAIMER** You will break some of the teeth that hold the shift boot, however it won't be noticeable to where the boot will easily come off.

Once the boot is off: you need a 14mm wrench and turn it clockwise to release the locking nut under the shift knob.
**ADDITIONAL**
If you are interested in making a custom shift knob, You'll need a lug nut and a converter inside the lug nut in order to fit it on the shift thread.
