Guam need to build homeless shelter for women and children, one for elderly, and one for young people. Giving is unconditional, and for those people who are not ready to give, don't give at all. When you give money, release it without condition and just pray for you as a giver with bad attitude. Do not harass the homeless people. No one wants to be homeless, but do to unknown circumstances, they are now trying to surviving! What they do with money is their business is between them and the Lord! You are either ready to give or you're nor able to give! When you reach out give a little , released it with faith and humble heart! The giver will be blessed!!
Guam shouldn't be going through this. Here's a suggestion, do we need all them senators running a small island? No. Maybe downsize and utilize federal funding by maximizing programs to educate and train these folks to be productive citizens and provide housing and meal programs to sustain good health. Guam needs to be tougher on DRUGS. leaders need to know its one of the biggest reasons locals leave the island to seek a better life elsewhere. Guam has been struggling for years with ice bc it's the lack of programs , and education and it all starts at home. Tougher customs laws. Go to where the drugs are brought in and block it. By stricter rules and searches. Sad to see my Homeland struggle with mental health, homelessness, and mental health .
People judged me when i was homeless and im free spirited so they profile me but they have no idea. There are probably only a couple or so people in the entire fleet who can match me in celestial navigation. Dont judge homeless. You might be embarassed when you get shown up.
There is s vessel docked here with berthing (beds) and if some of these people can pass a background check ( some crimes i think are forgiven) you can live on that boat, travel from yime to time, make 80k annually. Federal job. They feed you on the boat too. They need to find a job here to ourchase their credentials first. 400 bux approximately. We need people bad too. There should be some coalition to arrange this. You have to be able bodied though.
I remember Leonard, he stayed with his bf across from us, he told my niece his bf is abusive and his in laws treat him like shit, he left him and the in laws. He was looking for employment but no luck.
Guam is judgemental with homeless. I take home over 4k a month and from time to time i buy meals for homeless. My employer is racist but i make money. Im not greedy yet im frugal. Im getting ready to leave guam for now. Ive been homeless in seattle and that sucked but here on a rock in the middle of the pacific? Man. I bought a latte in the coffee beanery in micronesia mall and the barista looked at the man with despise. Why do people judge others on what they make? Ive been broke when i was homeless. Seems like Guam really despises homeless
These are God's people and it's obvious guam and us mainland have issues in mental health and leaders need to do more for support ect. Mental Health should be on Top as far as funding. We can do better to help educate and provide programs to help supports. It's a sad world we live in.
Why do you have homeless people in Guam?? The entire Chamorro community know one another, you are related one way or another. Plus, most families have huge properties. Can they help their homeless relatives?
If you're not able to help these people in crisis, then move on! Be careful, you might be in that predicament when you least expected! If I win a lottery or a billionaire, I will build a home for all homeless people on the streets in the island of Guam! I will continue to pray for every homeless on the streets of Guam.
It's easy to criticize these people in crisis, until you walk in their. shoes, you'll never experienced their struggles! Please be kind to all people on the streets in crisis! If you can't give , don't look at them down and out, make fun of them, but pray for someone to reach out give a little!! My heart goes our for all the homeless on the streets of Guam. I pray that God will bless those who are able to help.. GOD BLESSINGS TO ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CRISIS ON THE STREETS OF GUAM.! 6/12/19
@@legalshieldbarbara8554 yes. Well said. Its hard for them to get up when they have no fresh clothes or laundry facilities, shower, transportation from their camp to work, or find work on limited space like guam. At least i was in Seattle when i was homeless. Working on a captains license.
