We Conquer HELLS REVENGE in our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in Moab Utah Mavic Pro

- The most iconic trail in Moab Utah has to be Hells Revenge! The large sand stone fins make for amazing trails and scenery. In this video we take you through Hells Revenge in Moab with our small group consisting of the AZ Westside Wheelers and Snail Trail 4x4 and us. I also invited one of my good friends who lives locally in Moab to join us. Our day starts off with some bad luck as Sean's tire would fall off on the way to the trail. This meant they wouldn't be able to join us on Hells Revenge this time, instead they had to limp their Jeep Wrangler back to the trailer.
We Crawled our way over this amazing Trail to the Hells Revenge overlook and then head over to Hells Gate which in itself is a sight to behold. Watch as we take you through this amazing Trail in our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and one of my favorites in Moab.

Was there this past week and enjoyed 4 days of wheeling.
I love how your daughter is completely at home in all of it.
My husband I honemooned in Moab. We went in our Acura ILX and was totally in awe of of the jeeps. Not even a year later, our Acura is wrecked and totaled and now we’re sitting in a lifted Jeep Sahara unlimited. The Acura we had endured so much of our shenanigans and “offroading” which we probably shouldn’t have done in that car but we had to be places not very many had gone to. 😂 hoping to take our Jeep to Moab. Every Jeep deserves to go before it dies. ❤️

You will certainly forgive me, but "some" clips of footage, for example at 1.20 minutes, cause the viewer to imagine things other than what you actually said.
I'm a proud Jeep owner too, but mine is not the "custom off-roader" like your envied 👍 "Rubicon" is.
It's a standard "Trailhawk Renegade".

You guys drove right past the exact spot I lost my big Godzilla toy back around 1987. Every time I pass that spot I look for it...
I burried it while playing.. I wondered off an by the time I got back the wind had hidden the spot in the sand :(

Great video thanks. I was a first timer there last June and couldn't find the new exit. Man the old one seemed brutal and took forever. Definitely one of my favorite places on the planet.
Yeah the old exit is very brutal. I hated going that way out. The new exit is much better!

We love Moab. Been 8 years in a row and plan on more. Hells Revenge is great but must agree that the old exit is brutally rough and long.

Such an amazing trip we had so much fun. Really great footage and what amazing shots going up Hells Gate. That obstacle was so much fun and really gets your heart racing haha. Can’t wait to meet up again sometime.

I've seen so many people flip on Hells Gate due to the spotter....Glad you guys made it out OK!. I'll have to muster up the courage one day!
You just need to come Wheeling with me 😉. But seriously I've seen too many people take bad lines and hells gate is not forgiving
My husband just took me up Hell's Gate yesterday before I had seen any videos of this. I'm glad I hadn't! One guy there said, "It's an easy ride unless you're off by a couple inches!"
We went up in a RZR and at one point our passenger side slipped off the wall. We made it though!
Colby Ryan he's absolutely right. It's an easy obstacle if you know the correct way up. If not you could roll over and even all the way back down fairly easy. Glad you made it up safe!

I drove off-road on a little polaris 900 for the first time ever on this trail. I had no idea what i was doing but i survived it!

Great video. Are Lockers needed to enjoy most of what Moab has to offer? I drive a 2 door Sport JK with a 3” short arm lift and 35” tires. Thanks.
Some trails require lockers. Most 7+ rated trails will require them at some point. But there are several trails you don't need lockers on. Hells revenge for the most part can be done in 2 wheel drive although I don't recommend it.

Great Video, Was there Dec. 2021 I was alone my first time. Did that trail alone didn't even see another jeep. But I got through it fine and had a blast. Are you from Vegas?
Moab is always fun. I like it in the off season for that same reason, no one there. I live in Utah

I like the Toyota that’s probably 20 years older and today probably cost less than half of one of those Jeeps. And it made it no sweat.

That was Outstanding! I rented a Rubicon recently in Sedona AZ and did Schnebly Hill, Soldiers Pass, Broken Arrow, The Outlaw Trail, Diamondback Gulch, The Chuckwagon and Devils Bridge OHV trails it was my first time driving off pavement and 1st time driving a Jeep and had a great time, a few cold sweats and a lot of swear words but it was awesome! I will be in Moab in June and attempting Hell's Revenge, do you have any advice for a novice driver? Thanks Brother!
Sounds like you had a great time! Hells Revenge is a must do for Moab. I wouldn't go alone, its always good to have someone there to help spot you up or down something when needed.

you'll be ok in a short wheelbase as long as you have someone that can spot you that knows the line. Short wheelbase obviously get harrier quick on steep inclines
Nicely done! Love the drone footage. I have been to Moab and run Hells Revenge 4 time and still have not done Hells Gate. I have to confidence to do it now so next time! The alternate exit you speak of...It looks like you just backtracked on part of the same trail coming in? I don't care for the "old" exit either..pretty rough and off camber is some spots. Still fun though.
Hells gate isn’t bad once you know the line. But I totally understand how intimidating it is
Such a great adventure out there in Moab! Yes, I did leave my camera at the bottom but I also total forgot to turn on my GoPros as well, so I had to do it again to get some footage aka proof

Love Moab so much. I've been going for the past 10 years. I'll actually be driving for my first time this next Easter. Hell's is definitely my favorite as well. Great video and editing by the way. Try out the Easter Jeep Safari if you get a chance. If a lot of people isn't your thing do the Labor Day one.
We go over to Moab every EJS. I don't mind the crowds as it's expected with those events. Thanks for watching!

Hi new jeeper here with a stick, how the hell am I supposed to shift gear during threat first hill? Or do I set it on 4 low and let it do it’s thing ?
Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. 4 low is your friend on the trails. It’s easier to drive, shift and steer. My first jeep was a stick and I loved it. Have fun and enjoy it!

yes there are several. look up Long Canyon. Hurrah Pass, Gemini Bridges. to name a few. Lots of great trails and scenic overlooks!
This might be a dumb question .. but did you do this while in 4H ? I have a 4x4 XJ and I’m just starting to learn. Lol
no problem I'm happy to answer. Most trails are best in 4Low. Its easier on the transmission and other parts.

99 percent of the trail you can done it in a Subaru Impreza ...only the last part where you need all that suspensions and big tires. But overall nice video 👍 stay safe.

Hi I seen you have 3 car seats wide what’s your thoughts on the fit of putting them 3 wide and what car seats do you feel folic best in the back of a Jeep I’m getting a Jeep soon and trying to find the best seats for the kids
Mark Blain they fit fine. I just found some car seats that weren't so wide as others.

Yeah it's not an obstacle you want to roll on. It's a long way to roll back down to the bottom

Both my red JK and the blue JK are 3.8L why do you ask?
I have 3.8, I’m just curious is the 3.8 is capable of this challenge, I love my 3.8 more now
@@canalesivany you shouldn't have any problems with a 3.8 vs the 3.6. The 3.8 is sluggish on the highway but off-road it's never been an issue

I have an air intake with throttle body spacer, cat back dual exhaust, super chips, and an afe sprint booster on my 3.8 and this thing is a whip and hauls ass..

I didn't have the kids in the vehicle on those steep climbs. If you look close you can see the kids playing at the top of the hill with my wife while I drive up.

I am super laid back when it comes to parents doing stuff with their kids, like shooting guns at a young age, riding a mini atv, etc... but I have to say, running hells gate with children that young in there just seems irresponsible. An adult can take being thrashed around if the Wrangler rolls, not so much very young kids. Don't get me wrong, its your call as their parents. I just personally wouldn't let my children be in the vehicle with me while I do it. Now if they were like 10 or 11 yrs old, I would feel a little different about it.

Guess that I've never understood the thrill of this. Most people that I know, will just hike/walk up the hill for the view, other than ruin the Redrock with tire marks.
