I worked for a insurance company back in the early 90s, and the cubes in the office were only about 6 inches above desk height so you could see the entire floor. Everyone left at exactly 4 every day, after clocking out I went back to my desk to staple a few papers together and put in my supervisors in box. There was only one other lady left on the floor about three isles over. As I dropped my paperwork in the tray and turned around to walk off there was a females voice as clear as day that said "Thank You". I turned around and of course no one was there. Being a little bewildered for a moment I started to walkaway again, then the lady three isles over said "I heard it too" that sent chills down my back.

@@OffGridBackcountryAdventures Remember to pray before you go and keep a running conversation with Jesus in the back of your mind. Pay attention to your gut instincts and address any bad things immediately. Do not go with any of the hippie crap of burning sage and carrying around crystals. that is just ways people try to make you think they know more than they do. None of that will hurt but Keeping Jesus with you is 100% foolproof. I had the feeling that you would feel the presence of Sierra because she never left you and that would thin the veil for you. Enjoy the gift that God has given you and the knowledge that just because you cannot see it does not mean it is not there. Auditory hallucinations are not what is happening to you. you offer those on the other side a portal when God grants you this ability. Remember to keep Jesus with you and you will be fine. Please keep us up with your journey into a realm few access. Being recognized as friendly by someone who keeps watch over the land he loved means he accepts you. What a wonderful Christmas present.

Tree sap. The reason you prune trees in the fall is so sap can form over the cut to heal that spot when it freezes. If you cut big branches in the summer insects and bugs are attracted to the fresh cut and can infect your trees. Sap is like a scab forming on a cut on a person. Sap heals the cut and heals where dead branches are attached.
Training for Meadow. Have a great treat in your hand and say. "follow me". Keep treat in your left hand in front of her mouth. Don't let her eat it but keep walking a couple of yards then say "stop". Make her sit down when you say "stop", then feed her and say Good girl. Keep repeating this and walk her for longer distances over time. She will begin to sit down automatically when you say stop. She will get used to "follow me and stop". Stop is a great command in serious situations.

I had a similar experience when my mother passed. A couple of hours later, I was asleep, I had a dream. My mother was at a very ornate bar, she was dressed in a red satin skirt, like in the style of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s “. My mom was smoking a cigarette with a holder. I said “mom, you don’t smoke!”. She turned to me, and said,” What, is it going to kill me?”, I woke up laughing, this was so like my mom to joke around like that.

Back in the 1990's I had similar things happen to me. The first night, I was staying at a motel in Gallup N.M., I had just got into bed, turned off the lamp, and I heard a women's voice say my name. Have to say, scared me to death. When I got to my mom's house in Utah, she said it was probably a guardian angel because I was traveling alone. We'll it happen off and on for about 12 years. I was always in bed like the first time, except one time I was at work early in the morning. Heard my name called right behind me. No one was there.
I'm glad it stopped, but I often wonder why. I must have needed it in some way.
    Beautiful area to camp.

There’s so much that we don’t know about spirit/what happens after death. But I firmly believe that it’s possible (from my own experiences) and there’s just no way that when we die, we just cease to exist. No way… humans, animals have such a strong soul.. how can that just disappear? Energy doesn’t go away, it has to go somewhere … I think that would have been an amazing experience. ✌️👍

If you want to check for old graves that have lost their markers or maybe there's a chance of some unmarked graves... you can contact a search and rescue group and see if they want to use that area for a training area and see what they come up with. Trained dogs can find graves that are thousands of years old and are sometimes used on archaeology digs.

    • @OffGridBackcountryAdventures
      @OffGridBackcountryAdventures  22 дні тому +1

Yeah, this area is ripe with unmarked graves from both pioneers and Native Americans. I've come across quite a few areas in this region which have remnants of old homestead cabins along with massive Native American sites. I thought I'd mention it in case you were interested. I use 2 metal coat hangers, cut out enough of each to make an "L" shape, with about 7 inches in my palm section and 9 inches sticking out straight ahead of me. I just walk forward slowly until the rods (hanger pieces) cross themselves right in from of me. It's a good firm swing, can't miss it. Good luck!

It's too small to film in. I like the tent but the one thing I'd change about it is the doors. They aren't canvas and snap really loud in the wind. I was disappointed that they didn't make it 100% out of canvas as that would have greatly reduced wind noise. I'd suggest considering other tents that are 100% canvas.

In my world as an Intuitive that is what we'd call a "Visitation" possibly someone who passed away there or loved being in that area and most likely doesnt know they died and are stuck or it's someones energy that just loves it there. Either way, if it happens again you can tell them to "Go the the Highest light" then they can move on...Or you can ask them a question. Just start talking back like they are there. Sounds like a friendly soul, but that's just one perspective . If more of the begins to happen in your life you can take simple courses from Penny Kelly or James Van Praagh for mediumship. I think cuz you are in nature and have a lot of stillness/quiet you are open to receiving this type of contact or info if it is of interest of you. Your friend had a similar thing camping a I recall, a noise in the woods, that was cool too. Have fun, your vibration is high so it's easier for them to connect with you.

So I got one for you. My friend who I go exercise her dogs during the week. A few years ago her husband he died at home he was very ill. It never creeps me out being in her house. I go in and out do laundry over there while she works. One day I was getting the dogs situated and gathering their 40 plus balls to throw and I was in the house and all of a sudden I heard a big HEY and that was it. I looked around because I thought maybe she came home for lunch. Never seen her. A few days later I went over to collect my pay and we were just having general chit chat and I remembered what happened to me and I told her about the loud HEY I heard and she said are you serious. I said yeah. She looked a little pale and she said that is how my husband would call me when he needed me to help him. He was bed ridden. I thought about and I said ya know now that I think about it, it was his voice. It never creeped me out I’ve worked for Hospice and she’s a nurse so we’ve both seen and heard a lot. Pretty cool that happened to you. I would do some research about that area, missing people, deaths etc.

I know you know the people behind Meadows food, but I am wondering why you decided to go with a dog food brand vs just shopping and sharing with her?
We thought my dog had parvo because of how sick kibble makes him, and he is super picky so he just eats what we make and he is NOT food driven at all so it can be difficult but its way cheaper than the raw foods that are available locally and human grade since it's human food... Not saying I'm more right, I'm just genuinely curious as I love how freakin easy it is to feed my dog by simply making larger portions. I never even bothered with our local raw food as our vet clinic has signs up saying it's more likely to cause certain health issues (they're also anti-grain free smh) and because the cost esp if it makes him sick would be a MASSIVE waste for me :( I do still buy kibble for the other dog because he likes it, and my guy will snack on it occasionally and that doesn't make him sick, but about 6 hours after he has dog food he has it coming out both ends :( It's sad. He loves raw fruit and veggies, steamed veggies, beef (we barely cook chicken so he's never had it), turkey, potatoes, berries, etc... like if i make pancakes he has pancakes, if i have yogurt he has yogurt, his current favorite is what we call homemade hamburger helper but really its more like a poor man's stew, ground beef browned up then some sliced up potatoes and frozen mixed veggies tossed in with gravy... he does the zoomies happy dance everytime he gets that.
Surprisingly with the signs all over the vet clinic about food being evil they are pleased with his diet, energy levels and the fact he eats actual werthers original over dog treats (he has a sweet tooth or 20). My guy likes to have oatmeal with brown sugar for breakfast and diced watermelon on the side... LOL Dude could eat a whole watermelon if you cut it up and let him! He has an underbite (the one where his bottom teeth are in front) and struggles to pick food up so i have to make it smaller for his mouth.
Sorry for always being so long!!! I just hate tossing out a question without giving a proper reason bc I don't want to sound like a butt...

i felt a warmth in my heart because i knew the spirit was accompanied by Sierra. The love between you two has never been broken so your connection makes it easier for her to help get through to you-and sometimes bring friends. Build a small fire there and talk to your new friend as if you could see him. He may surprise you.

Meadow may get worms if she chews on that leg. It happened to a friend of mines black lab. He was chewing on some of the elk they had killed, and he got a bad case of worms.
Oh yeah, if that wasn't a Raven talking, then you may just be going crazy?!?! Just a thought, probably nothing to worry about.

It sounds like an earth bound spirit 😃
Nothing to be afraid of. The fact that it took you by surprise changed your mental state from neutral/relaxed to tense. If you could get back into a neutral state you'd likely be able to have a conversation with 'him' 😊
Some earthbound spirits are happy to have a chat.
    2 More things.
    1) You probably won't be able to record any of it because although the voice seemed to be coming from behind you, chances are high that it was only audible in your head. I bet it was fully telepathic.
-> My guide woke me up twice in the middle of the night by putting the sound of my doorbell in my head. I literally veered up as it was incredibly loud. I got up, checked the door and there was no-one. My dog was sound asleep too. He didn't hear anything while I almost jumped out of my bed 😄
    2) If you want to establish contact with that gentleman then don't go there with that specific goal. Go back but let it go. Just try to forget about it. When you go with the purpose of "finding" him you will emit a different frequency/vibe and he *might* be less inclined to establish contact.
Try to spend some time there (as long as you can). If you have a time limit your frequency will be different to. Essentially: if you mimick the conditions of your first encounter you might have more chance of meeting him again.
    - if he makes himself known then you can think a question (eg: can you hear me?) if he answers then you can have the entire communication telepathically should you want to 🙂
I hope you'll meet him again. He seems happy to chat 😊
Earthbound spirits don't necessarily want to stay where they are. Some want to move on but don't know how and need some help.

I just want to ad that we're living in a wide wild world and that there's a lot we can't perceive with our 3D eyes.
Life doesn't end when we're dead. The only thing that dies is our physical body. Our souls are immortal. We can have a chat with folks snd pets on the other side if we want to. There's nothing weird or creepy about it. We've all been here many, many times before as well.

I just ordered night vision equipment so I can hunt cryptids or any nocturnals on my UA-cam channel. I do believe in ghosts and things that can't be explained. When things happen to raise the hair on the back of our neck, some type of energy is there. Give Meadow a hug for us.
