Brian , the dog in my profile pic was German Shepard ,Belgian Malinois and Collie . Chase lived to 16 and I have dogs all my life , he was the smartest I have ever met , and not just me . Everyone who ever met him said it. I took him to a dog obedience seminar and ran him through his regimen the owner said he didn't need any training . I told him , I know but felt like showing him off and the other pet owners clapped and cheered ! It brings tears to my eyes typing this . We now have 2 pit boxer mix brother and sister .
Hope you enjoy your dad's side of the family especially your grandma. Gleen as much knowledge as you can from her. I hope she is able to pass some precious wisdom on to you. Life is very short.
Hi Brian & Meadow, there is an Artic Vortex coming in next week Brian, they are reporting it will be very dangerous! Minus temps across the US. Check into it, you need to make plans. Blessings and stay safe.
I’m Volga German and I come from Ellsworth, Kansas. The Churches were built first thing . 1 for each elder that came over from an area near the Volga River. It’s an amazing history all along little towns off of I-70.
I love hearing that I inspired winter camping, enjoy that hammock hot tent! Being out here in the winter is the best, I love how the landscape changes during the winter months. Lots of wildlife viewing opportunities with the snow hits high up in the mountains causing big herds to come into the valleys.
I loved the underwater video, it was totally meditative. You could just make one of those at each fishing spot, loop it for an hour and do a side series of river relax videos. 🙂
That's a great idea, I think I'll do that. There's another spot in this creek next to camp which has larger brook trout so I will be putting my GoPro under the water at that location next. I'll just leave it there until the battery shuts down from cold temps. Also, based on your idea I'm going to start posting videos where this is the only footage. I find it so relaxing and think others would enjoy the footage. Thank you for the idea for additional content, I've honestly tried to figure out what people would be interested in seeing. I think this is the ticket. Happy New Year!
Yes! The underwater shot is colorful and dynamic, but so relaxing. I enjoyed this gorgeous video while I was drinking my coffee and thought, "I didn't even have to pitch a tent." Thank you for bringing us along with you. The dogs are such good companions. Made me sad to see Sierra.
Happy New year 🎉🍾🎆 to you Brian and beautiful Meadow 🐕❤ She is growing up so quickly. 🐕 . I have the same Coffee Pot, they make the best Coffee..looking forward to seeing Montana ❤
hi Brian i did see a beautiful church in a cute little town called southampton on long island during my travels in the 1980s so many English sounding places around rhode island i really had great fun seeing places and meeting great people plan to do it again your channel is very inspiring take care

Happy new year brother, love the videos and all the adventures. The rig and set up is beyond awesome. Looks like freedom to me keep up all the great work you guys
Awesome work, I have had to reconnect some solar panel wires as well. Corporate/ c0 munist companies have destroyed our farms. Keep up the great work 👍😎
Well, not like you didn’t know what Colorado, was like. I think I would have put my crap in the tent and stayed in the camper. I love waatch8ng Meadow having fun. Oh, you have a huge tent. Nevermind
What are dimensions of your Four Dog Stove? I see they only have 2 sizes on the website and the small one listed with the single vent up front seems smaller than what you have.
@@OffGridBackcountryAdventures yanking chains man,,, you dindnt even throw any rocks at me.... anyway got a hole in my sneaker,, I hate breaking in new shoes to....
Hi. I've been watching your vids and Bob form cheap RV living for years now. I think I am close to doing it. I have my only acre of recreational land 6 month use only form April till October. Paid for 100%, I own my trailer 100% I own my car 100%. I have two dogs with me. Both female, a Basket hound, and a Chinwawa. My car is small KIA RIO, but I think I can pack, Stove, propane, 240 Jackery Solar generator, food cooler, tarps food, clothes, cast Iron 12 inch frying pan with lid and a pot,and bum it at BLM land until April. Pack in food for 14 days, and rotate out. Hit the city do laundry, shopping, mail and banking business, gas up and head to next BLM land and stay 14 days. Stay put, and spend no gas money. A good tent. I am looking at the White duck Cabin 10x10. Small enough o travel with. I want to see if I can heat it up with a IR reflective tarp. I have 2 solid heavy duty IR reflective tarps. I want to heat reflected back on me form the top. See if a candle lantern and a few hot water bottles will keep temp high to survive. If not then MR. Buddy heat and $$$. I got the insulated bids, ECWs long johns, and The best survival blanket ever by Mambe. IR reflective with thick polar fleec, wind proff water proff wow it is like a separate ECO system. And I had their IR poncho to stay warm outside. The cabin tent also has an Awning to stay out of the rain... And then I got the car as back up shelter/Generator/heater. I got everything but the tent and cooler. I am very close. This year I think.
Thanks!
Meadow is growing into such a gorgeous dog!

Some scenes from 1984 movie "Red Dawn" were filmed in Las Vegas, NM.
The wall with the Cowgirl and Welcome to Calumet fell down. Everything else is still there.
