Congratulations Victor. This is certainly one of the best videos on here. Your recording has managed to minimize room effects so prevalent in other recordings of recordings on audio systems. It approaches original quality and demonstrates the equipment, especially the Klipshorns to perfection.
What a great choice on music for the demo
HI..! wounderful sound, warm and full of detail...
Now that's how Paul Klipsch intended his speakers to be placed. Nice video. The Klipschorn, people either love them or hate them. I love them. Fuhgeddaboudit!!
Sarcasm right?
How did i miss this all these years , very good demo.
good music.
Leaving the table by Leonard Cohen is the song being played. Love the sound of your system!
Sounds great. Thanks for posting.
Nice, the music and the sound! Thanks!
Beautiful sound.
wow that sounds incredible deed rich bass smooth top in from the horns .... i always thought that klipsch speakers were bright with boomy bass , boy was i wrong
Wow! Amazing setup, sounds so real.My dream to own one of these.
Acoustics masterpiece, I have such a there is
I always loved mine!
WAW ! Just supreme speakers! Play !
Beautiful - Thanks!
Cool track and room.
Great recording!
Heavenly!
Love it.
Wonderful speakers !!! I am considering them seriously. I’d like to ask you a couple of questions: What is what is on the speakers ??? A super Twitter??? Is it needed ??? And the other think is solid state amplification is a good option for the Khorn . Congratulations for your system!!!!
Love it
Holy fuck this rig is nuts.
Nice system!
🙌
Earthworks microphones
Nice
Oh if money wasn't an object I would own a set of Klipschorns... One day, one day~ Paired with EAR 834 tube phono preamp, Cary Audio SLi-80 magic!!!
Wow!
Wonderful speakers and wonderful music. Which tweeter? Not K77, which crossovers.
Tweeter is the B&C DE250. Crossover points are 400 and 5800 (using extreme slope crossovers from ALK). I just switched to my winter amp configuration - will try to upload another video if I can borrow those mic's again.
Nice system and great sound...are the speakers best suited to this kinda music or all the owners of these speakers which make videos of these horns only like this kinda music?
I know what you mean because most speakers I've owned only sounded hifi with simpler recordings, and for that reason I was always partial toward studio recordings with 1 or 2 instruments to showcase my system -- anything busy/confusing got the skip button. Most people only experience horns in settings where volume is the most important factor, so they're perceived as utilitarian mobile party machines that are colored/honky/shouty.
Well in my prior gear the live and classical recordings would bore me, and these are tracks likely to be deleted within seconds...

This is fantastic .......wife acceptance factor = 0 :)
I like the idea of having the components to the side, but how does the hallway sound between the speakers? (as opposed to a solid wall) And, no TT? Come on!!!
The whole in the middle makes a deep center image for some tracks. I presume lots of absorption in the middle would be similar. I'm too lazy to rotate my system 90 degrees, let alone explore vinyl.
Is that the living room/foyer from the movie "Risky Business"? I swear I was about to hear Bob Seger take off with "Old Time Rock n Roll" ;)
If dirac and other good room correction software can make good speakers sound great, I wonder what it does with great speakers.
Dirac has easily been the most important "tweak" in my systems, but people would sooner spend that money on a power cord. That being said, if you have both great speakers and a great room, then there's not much for Dirac to do.
I thought Tom Cruise was gonna come sliding out in his underwear.
Beautifull!! What kind of audio rack is that?
mapleshade samson -- will be using mapleshade's interconnects and amp stands in my next video
Notice,
most people either have the system,
OR
the real estate.
But never hardly ever, BOTH.
people that have both are not the kind of people having time to waste on UA-cam I think
@@Mach1n-is-at-lvl-60
Some have both, but there are very, very, few. I might have seen one.
Everybody has time for UA-cam.
Unless they are VERY old fashioned. Those are probably without a stereo as well.
People use UA-cam to hone themselves, and to see where others are in the state of their art.
Could you tell how much the UBS asynchronous interface helps for the Audio GD ?
This DAC's Amanero USB chipset is light footed and showcases speed over drive and gravitas, so the notes don't commit with the satisfaction of live music. I think my DI20HE is checking all those boxes. Look out for my next video!

Yeah! What he said! ☝️😁
Que VIDEO y mas con un buen sonido no me canso de car Este VIDEO una Pregunta de CUANTAS pulgadas son los GRAVES? Podrias hacer un VIDEO mostrando Como as de atras los bafles?

dont get much better folks
Is it good for rnb or hip hop music. Not on a quantity more on a quality bass?

¿How big is your room? Could you tell me the length, width and height of your listening room?
20x14x9
Great video. Which Fastlane horns are in your Klipschorns
Eliptrac 400 and Circletrac were both made by Dave Harris in Victorville CA
@@Wynnytsky thanks very much!
Hi Victor, if you dont mind me asking what are the associated equipments?
click the SHOW MORE link above
Very nicely done.👍
Why is it bona fide audiophiles prefer the most obscure, strange & bizarre types of music?
nice work, because as we’ve seen on other purported ‘audiophile’ sites, K-horns are difficult cats to herd through transistors;
What driver is the woofer?
It's stock, and I'm still using it to this day
Who makes the rack?

Makes live music sound fake, as good as it gets
Koszmarny pokój odsłuchowy
what song is this?
Leaving the Table by Leonard Cohen
Nice speakers... creepy music.
A lot of firepower for such a small room.
I have a 2nd identical room with Vapor Stiff Breeze monitors. They sound lovely at moderate levels, but the horns load the room like none other. Something about the impedance coupling with the air in the room.
Just buy headphones lol
It's not a fascination it's a disease...im sorry .........................................................
All that gear to play a song like that?
RCs By A Dummy RIGHT?! It’s like every Klipschorn owner has amazing equipment but they can’t tell what songs make them shine.
TRUE
Sounds like some cheap 10 cent speakers when I listen on my phone!
that was a problem in my old videos -- it's been fixed in my newer cuts
There are people who pay $100,000 for speakers that look flashy but sound like Ford factory automotive speakers compared to Klipschorns
That room is too small for KHorns. Those corners are just too short.
So colored.
this one is a little better
ua-cam.com/video/EuQayazRrwg/v-deo.html
Nice sound overall. You replaced the drivers with B&C? That means they're no longer true Klipschorns then. They are look alike's but I still like them.
Is it a requirement to place these in rooms with weird acoustics? I haven’t seen a single video that makes these seem impressive.
sound absorption can give you more of the headphone experience, where the initial wave becomes even more dominant (not joined by as many reflections). For me moderate absorption helps with critical listening by making playback more faithful/honest. Remove the panels and the experience is more lively (and definitely louder), but there will be less of a distinction from one track to the next. This is ok with slow&simple audiophile tracks, but when it get's busy (or played loud) then the room overloads with reflections and the ensuing confusion ruins the experience. The only thing I didn't replace in these horns are the 15" woofers and the dog house.
To short
That was a waste of speakers imo 🥱
Wonderful speakers !!! I am considering them seriously. I’d like to ask you a couple of questions: What is what is on the speakers ??? A super Twitter??? Is it needed ??? And the other think is solid state amplification is a good option for the Khorn . Congratulations for your system!!!!
It's just a regular tweeter taking everything from 5800Hz on up. Back then it was the B&C DE250 and now I use the DE360. These speakers are from 1991 which used 1.75" midrange throat, so I had to replace the midrange horn to support the lovely 2" DCM50 driver. The current generation Klipschorn is using a 2" midrange and steep slope xovers, which is basically what you hear in this video. 2" horns are shorter so they'll have better time alignment with the tweeter, and I wouldn't be surprised if the new crossover is employing some time/phase tricks to align the tweet+mid even further. I don't know how to do (ie: buy) that so I sat the tweeter in a spot where the front of the DE360 would be above the front of the DCM50.
