Judging from how they treated Toad and stuff, it probably gets a trigger limit. I can also see the damage and health gain being reduced or maybe they make it like..."knock out pet with ailment to gain health"
alternatively I'd like to see it affect friendly pets as well. Using wall chicken to activate hurt triggers or faints might be interesting.

With so many new ailments I'm really surprised they didn't make a pet or a food that prevents ailments. Even the pets that remove ailments don't help against vampire bat because it already does the damage.
Yea unicorn having triggers is kinda weird. Like it would probably be so much better if it wasnt perma stats and had unlimited triggers
Vampire Bat is definitely way to overpowered. It's 100% going to get nerfed in the future.
1 damage and/or tier 5 is my bet
Better to give it trigger limitations, putting it tier 5 doesnt solve the fact hes op for late game, they need to limit the times he can snipe so you cannot just re apply ailments over and over
I'd say keep the damage the same, but don't give it the health absorption. It kinda defeats the purpose of calling it vampire bat, but I think even if you put the damage down to 1, it would still absorb too much hp.
Def needs to do less dmg so he gains less health
Maybe keep it at 3/6/9 damage absorb and give it 2/4/6 triggers, so a level three getting all six triggers only gives it 54 health...still awesome for a tier 4. It's way overtuned with no trigger limit.

I keep trying to do some creative builds in custom and right when the build starts to come online, or when I just need to survive one more turn, I run into a vampire bat build that destroys me. Without fail
Thing is Pug is a tier 3 pet so why is a food perk that does the same thing without taking up a space tier 2???
I know it should be at least tier 3. even as a tier 4 it would still be good.
They added Ogopogo, a tier 2 that gives experience to the front-most friend but it has different stats.
Unicorn pack is weird. They also added Minotaur, who's totally just old Kangaroo but he scales with the level of the friend in front of him.

I feel like the most broken thing about this pack is the tier 2 food ginger cookie. A free level up in battle without taking up a space ( for lets say a pug or a Quetzalcoatl) is just too much value for me personally

Vampire bat, Red Dragon, and Visitor with Mandragora to stop enemy faint pets is pretty disgusting tbh, Or Frost Wolf instead of Visitor. That way the ailments don't override each other, and you can smack their whole team with Vampire bat.
i feel like tiger - parrot - vamp - 2 microbes is just the strongest possible. 9 volleys of 12 dmg to the entire enemy team, with 2 50 hp units left to clean up afterwards? How do you even compete with that?

Not necessarily because it can keep spawing up front which is good for a few different synergys in the pack but it is just worse because it needs to be leveled up
