I love seeing you in front of your stockpile. When I began to learn couponing, I got as many deals as I could and quickly built my stockpile. Now, I am much more selective with the deals that I choose to do. My skills have become better, with practice, and I continue to learn.

Thank you for your great commentary on couponing Luellen. Changes can be very good, especially if it cuts down on coupon fraud. Here in Massachusetts, 2 women were just recently convicted of stealing thousands of dollars from 2 supermarket chains due to coupon fraud. They somehow figured out how to create bar codes and manipulate,create coupons with these bar codes giving them very high dollar values. Makes us honest couponers look aweful and gives us a bad reputation unfairly. It really ruins it for everyone though, since retailers then have to raise their prices on everything in order to recoup their losses. I'm not crazy about AI (artificial intelligence) in general, but that is where the world is now heading, whether we like it or not.
I'm not loving the 2 week ad but it isn't horrible either. It seems like they will still have some decent deals for us. I'm mostly trying to focus on freebies and things we actually need for our household
We’ve had the 2 week ad for at least 6 months. What’s great now is that the deals reset for the second week (didn’t do that last year) and now we all have the same deals so I can follow your videos once again!
I have a question if I had cashed in my ibotta and got a CVS gift card how do I use it since they no longer take them off your phone. Wil they take it if I print it
I did the spent $30 get $10 this week. After rolling my CarePass, ECB’s and coupons my out of pocket should’ve been $5 and some change. I was having issues the cashier was telling me she did not see my $10 care pass. I must’ve already used it. I’m trying to explain to her no I have not used my care pass for this month. The line was getting long behind me so I just told her never mind and I went ahead and paid 15 and some change out of pocket then after me paying the 15 out of pocket, she then turns around and asked me did you send your care pass to your card? I’m like no ma’am I’ve never had to send my care pass to my card it’s automatically loaded to my card…but I guess, now when you get your Carepass you have to actually send to your card or it won’t come off 🤦🏾♀️
@@empresswb641 i’ve never had to send my CarePass to my card either. It’s always been added to my card automatically. Also now on my app I’m noticing my 2% money back that we get on transactions. I have to send those to my card where before for me they were automatically added on the card so I don’t know what’s going on why I had to send it to my card and maybe you didn’t my car is supposed to hit on the 27th of this month I’m going to wait and see if it automatically add to my card or will I have to add it to my card
@@empresswb641 Also, since the first of the year, every time I scan an item in the store to see if my coupon will attach it always says not found or I don’t have a coupon for that particular item and clearly I do have the coupon it makes it so hard for me in the stores because when I get up to the cashier, sometimes they will come off even though I’ve already sent the coupon to my account. I have experience going to the cashier to pay, and some of the coupons were showing and come up and some will not. I have deleted my CVS appre-added it update the app and I still get the same results. I’ve called CVS customer service in reference to the app and the coupons and they just act like they don’t care so this is very frustrating and makes it very hard because I don’t know if my coupon is gonna come off or not

If I’m at a checkout behind a person who doesn’t have digital coupons and they are confused, I will offer to clip it for them on my account and use my number for them. Happens a lot with Walgreens and DG and older folks shouldn’t be penalized for not knowing how to do the coupons.
Hi Luellen. That's for this video. Our Winn Dixie has a kiosk but it only gives a few coupons, because when I go in the app there are so many more coupons. Hopefully they can upgrade it better.

I do most of my couponing at Walgreens and Dollar General. I do a bit at Walmart but that’s mostly for food items. I prefer digital coupons over rebates. Don’t get me wrong, I love rebates but the up front cost is something to take into consideration. Some people don’t have an extra $30 in their bank accounts to spend and then have to wait for their rebates especially when thresholds for cashing out is at play as well.
CVS also changed their free delivery set up. I used to be able to get free delivery no matter what the price as long as I had a CVS brand item, but now the overall total has to be $10. I thought that excluded coupons, but it does not. Your total has to be $10 or over after coupons to get free delivery. It's very annoying because of the limited coupons ai receive I cannot get as good of a deal on things. I did purchase yesterday and only managed to get 50% off when I usually get more than that with certain coupon stacks

I have tried for many years (starting at 23, i am now 30) to do couponing. Somehow, i ALWAYS seem to fail, so i gave up for a while, i am now trying to get back into it & learn more to correct whatever i was doing wrong. I live in Illionois, I am a SAHM with 4 all kids under 7 years old. If anyone could please point me in the right directions so I can start Winning with Couponing & being able to save so i can do more for my family. Please & Thank you!
In Poland loads of shops - especially chain shops - have apps or card. I tried few and the worst one for me was Kaufland card, cause I had to log to the account and activate coupons and then go to the store and use the digital card on the phone. It was far too complicated. Lidl has just digital discount app - you just activate coupons on your phone - you don't have to log anywhere, you just need to use internet while using the app.
I have a stockpile but it's not so great as this. Thanks for the info. I don't feel I'm missing the 'deals' with Sunday paper coupons, if they're diminished now, since I haven't bought them for a long time.
The coupon restrictions on paper coupons are insane..One per shopping trip..I have stopped buying alot of products because of this..I do not think this was their goal..plus they are only hurting the honest ones because the hoarders do not care about the fine print..they win and we lose out.

CVS is kidding themselves. Yesterday I had gotten a $4 off any purchase before 1/14 and a $2 off nail or beauty. I had sent it to card at home. When I got to the store I printed out the sheet that says you have a 4 and a 2 off. When I get to the register to self check out the $2 isn't showing so the lady told me come to her register. She said maybe you don't have the 42 , SO I showed her what printed from the red box that showed I had it. Also on the website it said buy 2 poparazzi and get a $4 reg reward.Okay I had $6 so I bought 2 poparazzi for 5$ and a 75 cent shopping bag and I had to pay .25 cents because they only gave me1.75 of the 2$ coupon. This is what they do. What especially pisses me off is when they reduce the care pass money. I never got the 4$ buck as the lady said it isn't marked and she looked on her phone. When I went home it was on the computer and I printed it out and I will go to the store and ask them BUT come on now,it's not a free bee when it uses up your time. I just joined the care pass last week and ONLY because I want the sambucol capsules that are stronger with no sugar, the sambucol brand name really does workdon't buy the elderberry in other brands they weren't as good and walgreens doesn't carry them online any more.
Hi LuEllen! I'm wondering if you have heard anything about CVS offering online only deals. Both the Nivea and Eucerin were showing as BOGO 50% online, but were full price in the ad. I found this out the hard way when I ended up paying $10 more then I needed to in store cause I went off the online price. I haven't seen an official announcement, but that's a huge difference if it's something they're going to be doing.

When I was in college, I joined a coupon club, we were 8 men and women, who sat around cutting coupons out of newspaper, since I was youngest, I was sent around to gather them up. So much has changed

She has set videos that she has been doing for many years. One of them is couponing updates. Any other channels with couponers should also put out updates as the updates affect their couponing and their subscribers' couponing. This channel is one of the few truly dependable channels out there that you know certain videos will be coming out and you can count on them. I truly appreciate all the deals she has brought us over the many years she has been doing this.
