I mean it is nice that she is saving some money, but why the dill did she need so many sports drinks, sweetners and mentos? Just becasue they had coupons? I get it when buy things you actually need, but buying them because of the coupons is weird.
My sister started couponing like this, and has more way more items that she needs. I’ve told her it would be awesome to donate to shelters, and other places like that. She gets all defensive. “They can do it themselves”. I need to learn from her, and do it myself. (donating part)
girl you realize this show is from a decade ago right? you can’t coupon like this anymore. I coupon and your sister probably stocks up on items when they’re cheap after coupon.
Couponers still pay tax. It is harder to get deals today because of newer restrictions, and with inflation, most couponed items still end up being some dollars. She learned to coupon herself and put in a considerable amount of time. It's her freedom to donate.
So the other people trying to provide for their families don’t matter? If she’s clearing shelves other families who need that item aren’t able to get it.
@goofeybutreal4398 I see a hoarder ! How is she “providing for her family “ with a hundred packs of mints ? When she said that people should have gotten there before her? Maybe they couldn’t because of work or Illness or something!
I use to coupon heavy like this when I was in high school. My parents could barely make ends meet and we never really had the basic necessities. Learned how to do this through UA-cam, Instagram and just plain old google. I was able to help lower my families monthly expenses, pay for my high school dances/proms/events, donate a bunch to my church, family and friends and I was able to make sure we had the basic stuff. It was great also when I would be able to coupon our food for the month too. Sure it takes a lot of time and effort, but if the need is there it’s worth it. Also I still coupon to this day. I may not coupon as much as I use to (I cut coupons during my lunch break in HS), but I still look and use them when grocery shopping for the week. We shop clearance items as well for expensive things like meat. Couponing really has saved me a lot of money and I can use it towards something else. I admire this lady stepping up and feeding her family. Her hard work in cutting out coupons, working out what items & amounts she is going to purchase, shopping and unpacking is amazing. The rest of this comment is not aimed at the lady in this video but more about couponing in general. Couponing borders on the line of being a hoarder or a genius. We don't have many coupons in my country and it fascinates me. I understand getting products that you can use or donate but to just get items because you can get them free seems odd to me. I've watched many couponing videos and most preorder items that they are buying in large numbers so that they don't need to worry about the store not having what they want and so that items can be left on the shelf for other shoppers.
I wonder how much of it is similar to a trauma response to living in poverty at some point? The fear of going without causing them to stockpile rooms full of soap, razors and gatorade...
Hello real couponer here. Um, I coupon for me and my sister. I do currently have 70 rolls of toilet paper, doesn't mean I keep it all. I will find someone who needs toilet paper if I buy more. I have not seen CVS weekly ad for next week yet. But, if purchasing toilet paper gets me a ecb I'm buying it. I will however find someone either in my neighborhood or a nonprofit organization to donate items that I do not need.
Helpful Tips: Invest in a paper slicer or 2 & a stapler. That way you separate like coupons & cut bunches in 1 go. Staple & mark the stack at 10 or 20 a piece. Also, to avoid the register lock; Do 1 item at a time. Great job Mom 💥👍🏽🥰
I have so much admiration for these Couponer, they are amazing. The work that goes into getting everything coordinated, calculated is a full time job. Well done her.
She could be reselling products that she doesn't need to make money such as dog food, Colgate, mints, paper towels,etc.... And spend less time ✂️ cutting coupons. Kids need more attention. And cook healthier food.

Plans out her trips for what to buy for what trips since her husband lost his job and her budget In general is like $35 dollars for a total. Also if you look when stuff is being scanned there is a couple of jars of pickles in there.
I’m so happy for her and people who are able to coupon like this. I tried to get into it and ended up spending and buying more things than I needed. It became more about what coupons came rather than what was needed 😅. They don’t always send out the same coupons.
Tbh, this is amazing…….all I would do is build a big storage shed in my backyard. Feminine products for free???!!! No way I would not stock my house. Y’all wouldn’t be judging if u were in her position.
See I was doing the math on that too!!! I want to know how she covered the sports drinks. I am a couponer myself, and the only thing I can think of is the toothpaste coupon doubled and the store she is shopping at allows overage, which would have been .50 each toothpaste. They didn't show it, but I wish they would have. Personally, if the toothpaste coupon was overage then of course I would have bought as many as I could have, (donating most of them) but I would have used the overage for items I can't coupon for, like meat, fresh fruit and veggies.
@@tamilamperez4259 that’s what I was referring to was the sports drinks... and to your point of doubling that would be overage but many stores don’t do overages

I love she doing it because she wants to take care of her family she not doing for herself she making sure her family is straight and I respect her for that
I applaud her. Whoever critices her attitude don't understand three things: a) in those stores (as in every big chain over there) eating healthy its not an option. Coupons are for hyper processed food and junk food. Yes, its not the best, but its the best she can do with what she have, b) that entire society bombard their consummers with junk food, make them more cheap than organic food, so they actually can't choose, c) living in the US its insanely expensive, specially for a family who have to go through difficulties like this one. So, if you are here saying nonense about the woman, please remember that you're not entitled to critice someone just for your own living experiences and benefits only. When one do not have the chance to make it better, do the best that can with what one has. As I said: I applaud her, she is providing her family and fixing her house.

It’s to show their couponing skills, not a true reflection of their daily habits. Often times they donate after the episode as well.
Also being able to save on non-perishables and pantry items does allow more financial room for quality food purchases. I really don’t get the confusion here.
@@marquettabassett575 because fresh food expires way way faster than this. That’s why there are so many deals on junk food’ because it stays good for a longer period of time and it needs to get off the shelves as fast as possible. That’s why it’s cheaper.
@Aarón Alejandro she can’t spend very much on groceries in general
What i can say she's doing all that for her family....children should be more grateful to their parents❤
Extreme couponing are like : I i have to repair my house falling apart, it's time to buy 1600$ of dog food and tampons so i can repair my house
No.its like today i have an income so i have to buy some discounted necessities so in case next month i lose my income, i have a pantry full of food
@@ctabs6646 No. 5 mins in she buys a whole shelf full of sports drinks.
Does this woman look like she needs a sports drink?
How many sports drinks do you drink in a month? A year?
When you are just buying any random thing because it's at a discounted cost, but you are still spending your money nonetheless, that isnt smart or saving...
It's a trap - Admiral Ackbar
P.S. If you're drinking that amount of sports drinks just buy the damn powder,
It is probably close to if not cheaper than the discounted + coupons bottled drink and you didn't need to put in 16+hours couponing everyday for 6 years to get it.
@@umutsen9290 or just get a job and they will get more Maney
@@umutsen9290 that depends…is she buying them to use or is she buying them for the overage?
I think it's because, she gets the things she needs for less, which saves her more money so she can repair it. I could be wrong
She’s not cheap. She deserves the world for her and her family ❤
@ Jordeleigh . She may not be cheap BUT she IS a hoarder when she said she didn’t want her kids to be without their needs BUT what about other people who have kids that have needs ? When she said that if anyone has a problem with her clearing the shelves they should have got their earlier MAYBE 🤔 they had work or sick kids at home or something like that ! She is horrible !
I have so much respect for extreme couponers.
They put an obscene amount of work n passion into this. God bless them.💚
What's blessable? She could get a job
AMEN
@@georginacat7667 because jobs are soooo easy to find.
This woman is amazing actualy.... hope she and her family are doing well!
I honestly wish they would stop posting videos like this like they're new. I feel like there's so many restrictions on coupons now because of this, that it gets the hopes up of newbie couponers.
TLC is going to get their money's worth from their older footage by uploading it to UA-cam like everyone else lol. If you're aware it's old just don't watch 🤭
@@yeahbuddy9395 actually I didn't watch it. My comment was geared towards newer couponers and or those that are inquiring about it. But I'm sure you were already aware of that before you decided to comment. Appreciate your concern though. I hope you have the day that you deserve. 🤭
This show is FAKE so we all know it.
@@TinTin-mh1dp do "we" all though? 🤔
Oh yeah is not the way it was over ten years ago. So many people do shady couponing there's tons of restrictions
She's not harming anyone n she's fixing her home ! POP OFF QUEEN!
She made a way for her family during hard times! I need her to put me on to the coupons lol ❤
I love how she step up when her husband lost his job
I see a strong mother doing everything she can to provide for her children. ❤
Not gonna lie that savings for coupons song at the beginning had me in tears🤣 this lady is smart though
You can tell the casheir loves her job with a burning passion
I have so much admiration for these Couponer, they are amazing. The work that goes into getting everything coordinated, calculated is a full time job. Well done her.
She could be reselling products that she doesn't need to make money such as dog food, Colgate, mints, paper towels,etc.... And spend less time ✂️ cutting coupons. Kids need more attention. And cook healthier food.
Maybe she does donate whatever doesn’t get used don’t assume someone doesn’t donate the difference between a hoarder and someone else who stockpiles is hoarder stockpiles have dust on them.
She doesn’t think about anyone but herself!! The daughter asked her what about the other people? She said that they should have been there early maybe they couldn’t? They had work or sick 🤒? She should donate the stuff
@@kellymcfalls1458 and maybe she does donate don’t tell she should do something that she already probably does on her own. You never know what she’s like off camera.
I'm pretty sure it's illegal to resell products.
@@brandikolasa6305 not if you don’t price gouge it it’s only illegal if you price gouge something
I have never seen a coupon that can be used for fresh poultry, seafood, fruits or vegetables. Seems like stores want people to use coupons to buy unnecessary items. Who needs 100 rolls of paper towels at a time?!
No one, but then again she is buying for the year...couponers purchase in bulk.
I mean I understand where she’s coming from, must be hard raising 5 children. Coupons are the best!
I would be interested in a analysis of the benefits of the coupon lifestyle vs a regular job
Not having managers!!!!
So she got mints, paper towels, sugar, and powerades. Lol just stuff sitting there. No food.
Plans out her trips for what to buy for what trips since her husband lost his job and her budget In general is like $35 dollars for a total. Also if you look when stuff is being scanned there is a couple of jars of pickles in there.
Unless you count pickles as food.
She did what she had to do to provide for her children I would of been very grateful if that was my mother and I would of never been ashamed
Couldn’t you save 600$ by just chilling and using the stuff you have? Lol
Why everyone mad?this is her life ,she can does what she want
Chronic couponers, leads to unhealthy life.
I’m so happy for her and people who are able to coupon like this. I tried to get into it and ended up spending and buying more things than I needed. It became more about what coupons came rather than what was needed 😅. They don’t always send out the same coupons.
Don’t they realize they spend money to buy the newspapers so not totally free
Some places get free newspapers
Exactly newspaper’s aren’t cheap. A waste
If they're going to be thrown away by the paper place anyway, it is free they will indeed give you the extra free if you ask
Newspaper is free in Canada
They make the money back,
they never buy meals , its just random things...powerades , mints , and paper towels...?!
Word, I didn’t see any Stouffers coupons on her or anything
She can open a small business on how many products she has
Tbh, this is amazing…….all I would do is build a big storage shed in my backyard. Feminine products for free???!!! No way I would not stock my house. Y’all wouldn’t be judging if u were in her position.
If you have 100 items at $0.50 that’s $50 right there... must be some overages or something
Probably a coupon that takes off $.50
See I was doing the math on that too!!!
@@tylerplueddemann7140 oh I know most stores don't allow overage. If they did I would be a very happy couponer! Lol
I really feel for her. It's heartbreaking to think that some people don't have basics as food and toilet rolls.
Such a wonderful mother, parents always does what they have to for their kids.🙏💕
Those children look fed up.
It’s good to have a mindset to save and build but I feel that too much of a good thing can be bad and she needs to chill. That’s too much.
Yeah but her husband lost his job like a year ago according to the story.

YOU KNOW SHE'S THE KIND OF WOMAN THAT SHARES WITH THOSE IN NEED...YOU GO GIRL!!!..
Can't be mad at her. She taking care of business!
This is a truly strong woman The work she does is amazing she pays $7 for all that That's really good 💯
Mom: how hard can it be to cut it straight-
Me (a lefty): *well that depends*
When she said she couldn't afford to fix her roof if her grocery bill was $600 i snorted.
Her bill was $600 because she bought stuff she didn't need but had coupons for.
Exactly. They make it seem like it's to your advantage, but all they're doing is getting you to buy things you wouldn't normally buy, just because you have a coupon. Crazy.
I can appreciate the traditional legacy of saving $ through couponing but I hate hearing statements like "I want what I want" and "I'm emptying the store" so... 😷 Your disease may be contagious lol... I've seen couponers on TLC that do consider other shoppers #Amen 🙏
I was thinking the same thing but u know how people are if u say something ur jealous i just think its called greed leave some for the next person tht may want 2 with their coupons

She cant feed her family with that stuff
I can provide for my family. This sentence says it all.
I like how the cashier is smiling and a great person because she's not mad at couponing
It's just for the cameras. In reality, they would be pissed af if someone showed up with 50 coupons.
0:07 I love that "saving with coupons, thats the way to go" 😂
Oh man the end part at the supermarket was so cringe when she went around high fiving everyone and seeing everyone clap like she did something great!!!!
I think saving money is a great to do.
Yeah I cringed too she seems a bit off as well, like who’s that obsessed with saving to the point of actually taking everything off of the shelves and probably not using most of it within a month😖
She does buy a bit of unnecessary or too many items or maybe it's a bit cringey but respect her skills and and the things she went through
This lady is so respectful is one of the best episodes I wish you could make her own show to show us all how to do this and where she gets her coupons from
she didn’t even buy food tho 😂
She doesn't eat food. She eats toilet paper!!!
Different product each day 😭🤷
But why she is buying things she doesn't NEED? Sports drinks, artificial sugar, paper towels, etc.
It’s not awkward.. it’s smart.
Not smart where the hell is she gonna sell all that shit? Craigslist? Who buying Powerade or sugar 2nd hand
Ok I'm watching this again, when she said it's not for babies! No crying,,,! I love it!!!
I love how she is cheap but lives an amazing life with good furniture and all not like the cheapskates that have nothing.
The mom was just trying to make sure her child can eat and i respect her
Put that cashier to work 😂😂
Wish she was my mom could have gotten so excited with her to cut them out and all. Super proud of you mom.
Wait a second... She buys a hundred newspapers every week... What's the newspapers cost anywhere between $2-4 a newspaper meaning she spending $200-$400 a week on newspapers to save money when she goes to the grocery store???
She said $20,000 worth of free stuff though
Prices of newspapers depends on the state

Where I am from on the West Coast they have a lot of rules in the shops about coupons. most shops are only allowed to take a certain number of items if they're on sale and they only allow 3 of .each item that has a coupon. there's a lot of rules it's not like you see on these shows

What a nice cashier. When I get something from the dollar section and it rings up for more, and I tell her I thought it was a dollar, her respond is: do you still want it? This one actually called the manager and asked for help to aid the customer.
Because she didn't have like 1-2 products, she had ALOT of em

WOW This is the first time I saw someone use coupons to paid their shopping, and that’s helps her for budgeting her money, that’s the good idea 👍wow just wow 🤩
You didn’t need any food?
I love she doing it because she wants to take care of her family she not doing for herself she making sure her family is straight and I respect her for that
I like the way that these people always are happy like it is normal to do this 🤣🤣🤣
Spoiled talk🙄
Yeah it's not normal, but it's smart
Most of the stores limit your sale items and coupons now
I applaud her.
America seems cheap compared to New Zealand and apparently because of these shows stores no longer double coupons. We get just one discount in New Zealand
Good on her I wish we had couponing here in Australia cause the cost of living here in Australia is really bad
See these couponers who say they don’t care they clearing the shelf all I think is greedy feckers
