The fact that you achieved the placement you did while ostensibly missing just demonstrates the strength of that tribe in the current meta game.
Jeef had a similar game and explained how keeping poki over jazzer was better since poki is working already with drakkari and jazzer was doing nothing for you without murkeye anyways. Was an interesting point since I think I’d want to save jazzer too.
I guess jazzer already having so many gem buffs is justifiable for the keep in this case. also, there were alot of battlecry synergies on the board so drakkari can be reluctant to keep. but yeah, other than that pokey is better.
He missed so hard on finding Murk-Eye that he won...
Poki, drakari, and charlga is pretty op as of right now. The 4 drop quilboar having divine shield is just op af as well.
The fact this man threw away active scaling in Pokey instead of just tossing jazzer to the side and didnt go 8th is amazing.

Had one game tonight where I had 10+ golden monkeys on six and doing every turn with 20-30 gold on 6 (after turn 8) and never saw any blood gem scaling ended up getting 2nd place on turn 16 getting 1/1 from my gems and a murk eye lol
playing duos other day and had double smuggler the other day with murkeye in between and brann and my partner wanted me to replace murkeye with charlga...PFFT no

This video was an example of how to throw a high roll game but still somehow win anyway due to the strength of quills this patch. Hit early Pokey and Drakkari but sell them both gambling for a Murkeye … when you had the battlecry naga anyway. Could have had thousands of stats.
