I finished the build of mine today, and I really liked the kit. A verry pleasant kit to build, crisp and sharp detail, everything fits like a glove. I can recommend this kit!
Academy kits have come a long way. I built a 1/35 Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer and the finished product came up looking very good. Sure, they're not Tamiya but the cost about half as much.
I like how you did this Pz.III Dusan, the colors look like straight from the desert. Quite heat warn. Since I'm building more armor now, I like to choose the version that uses the most parts, after all they do come with the kit and you do pay for them. Spares may be one thing, but extra parts going unused!? SINFUL! I'm going to steal a few more of your ideas, especially the track assembly tricks {as usual, thanks!} Great job Dusan! Congrats!
A lot snarl at academy..I’ve built Academy’s P-47 and ok I added some detail but it a fun build..Got Academy’s F-14 and isn’t Tamiya’s F-14 but looks a straight forward build and heard it’s ok..Haven’t got any armor from Academy though I would be happy to try them..Thank you for a great video

Well... Have you seen his f4u corsair or the p-38? It's very weathered BUT realistic. I think you are talking about his jet fighter builds but jets are clean because now they care more about it being clean. His ww2 aircrafts are realistically weathered and that's what matters :). Explore his channel and you will find out
Thanks!! It's just a black primer becouse anyway I am using the primer prior to the paintjob, for this type of cammo I prefer to use gray ones but I forgot to go out and buy one. Yes you can use the black primer for pre-shading etc. But I had to use few coats to get the right shade. All the best! Dusan

I would say that in the last ten years Academy has really upped their game, and in the last 5 years or so have produced and are continuing to release some of the best models around. Like Tamiya, they go for ease of construction with great details, rather than stupid levels of part numbers.
The basic cammo is finished with 0.3mm and the second color was finished with 0.18. Yes, I added a few drops of Revell thinner in original mix, (test) sometimes I use 96% alcohol but this time I decided to use Revell thinner. Just one tip, you can use self leveling thinner believe it or not for this colors. All the best! D.

They used to put a flag on the top of their tanks in order to avoid being bombed by Stukas. Maybe the tank in the picture Dusan saw was at rest after the battle and the flag was folded to be stored. I guess the flag would block some vent or sort of block someones view but it seems avoiding the friendly air strike was more important.

@@ScaleModelAircraft teah noticed that I was interested in seeing what this was like its strange the turret being like that nowadays and the flashy barrels but made a nice enough job at end of it! I'm always abit funny now with Academy my friend owns a model shop I've just sent him your video to check it out himself cheers

Why would a tank crew leave a flag on the front of the tank where it might block the driver's(or gunner's) view?

Extremely expensive to build model, I think over 300 USD to buy paint, metal parts, material and equipments to do it. The kit itself is very cheap.
