TAYLOR Tate, 30, from California, dons an androgynous look which she describes as 'predominantly masculine'. Tay's look developed after she had a 'strict, religious upbringing' in the south of America. Tay told Transformed: "I grew up in the south. A bible belt area and that played into me really figuring out who I was with my sexuality, it was really difficult to express myself. I had to wear feminine clothes and wear things that made me uncomfortable." Now that Tay lives in California, she has found her style and who she really is; which is something her girlfriend Zashia adores about her. Today, with the help of makeup artist Jaycee, Tay is surprising Zashia by stepping out of her comfort zone and transforming into a 'super feminine' look for date night. Zashia has never seen Tay like this before, so will be in for the shock of her life... Will Tay begin to embrace her more feminine side after the transformation? Or will she long for her androgynous look to return?

Makeup artist here! I know, I know, the wig didn’t sit how I wanted it to either. But it came with just the wig and that’s it, and it wasn’t the best quality so it didn’t look the best where it sat on her hairline/forehead. (They sent her everything ahead of time and nothing was opened until on the spot, so we didn’t know what we were working with until then. The wig was all there was to work with, and it wasn’t optional. I spent a decent amount of time trying to fix it but again, it was a cheap one and we were losing daylight) But Tay was absolutely amazing and such a beautiful person inside and out! And I had a lot of fun being her makeup artist.

She looks so beautiful either way, her essence and vibe are just beautiful overall, her girlfriend's as well. They are super cute together too. Bless them! I'm happy for them, having each other. But I am so sorry for Tay not being allowed to dress as she wanted, when she was younger. I am once more highly aware of how amazing my mom is. She even said "you do look better in men's clothes than 'girly stuff', there's no need to try to be someone you're not, don't be afraid of it.", I love her for being this way. She just wants to see people as they are, not their fake selves.
That’s very rare to find. Considering I one day want children of my own and preach this, especially to my husband. I can’t deny the environment that I grew up in and that my mother definitely scarred me for life. I always had to wear a mask and had to be “tough”. I know her life circumstances weren’t anywhere near easy. So I don’t blame her for it. But nor do I think a child should ever be putten into a parental role with a mom who most likely has BPD. Her sister got diagnosed but she never did. Anyhoo, safe to say as you can tell, that I’m extremely scared of ever even accidentally scolding my child or make it ever feel like it can’t open up and has to cry on his or her own… Try to hide it. Or even have a mom who throws hurtful comments and words left and right. I want everything BUT that for my child. If I ever have one, I want the most healthiest and loving environment possible. But this world scares me and so does my past. I’ve healed a lot. Put a lot of work in myself. So did my spouse. We both went through hell back and forth… I’m just afraid I might not ever be able to forgive myself cause I also realise how the world has become nowadays. And sometimes I think that maybe not having children is the most selfless choice. Despite of what others think. I unknowingly started venting cause I felt comfortable. Hope you can give me your thoughts despite the unasked rent 😂

It's so much fun to play with masculinity and femininity. I love doing a more masc look with full makeup, or combat boots and jeans with a flowy top and makeup. It took me a long time to get comfortable with my femininity, despite never feeling like I was anything but a girl. Just being happy in your own skin can be hard, and playing with people's perceptions can really help with that.
I also did that but it's been some years ago when I was at middle school and everyone was okay with that, but the funniest thing is when I got my first job at 16 (local shop) I started dressing very girly (had necklaces, earrings, bracelets, colorful hair and so on) some of the visitors really called me "excuse me, sir?"😅
As a softer guy I fuck with this theme.
It took me a long time to figure out I don't really hate my masculinity, I just had some bad examples that turned me off it for a while.
I don't think pink and pastels look good on me physically, but I like having some pink and turquoise shit in my general vicinity and makeover vids like this fascinate the hell out of me for the psychological aspect of it.
It's done me a lot of good to accept the things I like while also giving my harder masculinity some attention.
Learning to socialize with other guys and throw their insults back at them in a way they find funny is so SO underrated.
I don't think I'll ever be a macho man, and really I wouldn't want to be even if I could keep it up. I'm just more "analytical cheeky-bastard who likes the lame gay shit" and that's a valuable role in society, it turns out. I just gotta be quick with it if someone has a problem with me is all.
Talk to your OG gender even if you're just visiting, make peace with it. Something something skill issue.

Tay looked great in the finished look. So pretty. But clearly a bit uncomfortable. I feel it would have looked even better had they left the wig off and styled her natural in a more feminine way. Her natural hair is gorgeous. I hope she and her girlfriend enjoyed their date.

I did that to my girlfriend(r.i.p. she passed just last year, long after we had split, from medical complications). She HATED the femme look but rocked it on occasion to humor me & I loved it so much when she would let me throw her in my dress/heels & do a makeover. She had great legs(I don't not like that) & a great derriere so I loved seeing her in mini skirts:). Great body in general. As a partner, it's just different when you get to see your loved ones in a different look or tight-fitting/revealing clothing.
