So glad I found your channel! I’m a marketing business owner and really looking for a female perspective ❤️ so many creators in the digital nomad space seem to be men. Surprised your channel hasn’t blown up yet!
Well I can say that I live in Thailand (in Hua Hin), and there are (in my opinion) much better places to stay than the popular Chiang Mai and Koh Phangan. Koh Phangan is very far to be the best island, or to have the best beaches, there are many paradises in this country. For example Hua Hin is perfect for a medium/long stay (very well communicated with Bkk and the south) or an island like Koo kood (a paradise) or Koo Chang. There are also another little paradises for short time more popular for thai people, like Koo Lipe.
Nice video! Thanks for sharing. I visited Thailand and 3 other Southeast Asian countries back 1998. I am thinking about saving enough seed money for the next two years, then moving, working, and living in Thailand for two years. May stay there or in Southeast Asia longer if things go well. Chiang Mai or Bangkok? Perhaps, getting involved in the fashion, clothing, and printing business or import/export? What are the chances of working or partnering with local companies as an Independent Contractor? I may want to learn to cook Thai food or learn the language as well.
Amanda, your content is top of the game. I love the Canggu option, but there's the issue of the internet. Are there any coworking spaces where that issue is solved? How would you recommend working that out?
Yes absolutely! all the cafes and coworking spaces in Canggu have great internet. There are tons of entrepreneurs who live there and manage to work just fine. Canggu has probably over 30+ cafes and coworking spaces to choose from too so its a great place to live and work!
hello. i'm retired and want to live as a nomad in se asia. how do you go about getting visa's for each country and how many times a year can you renter a country? is it better to apply for a visa to each country when your going? or would it be better to just go to visa exemtion/visa on arrival countries?
Hey Amanda! I will be starting a 3-month solo trip around SE Asia (Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand) very soon. I do have some questions on health matters though. For long stays I've been told anti-malarian medicine (a shit ton of side effects) is not recommended but I'm kinda scared not to take it ngl (preventing measures include repellant, mosquito nets and AC, but I'll probably not be able to have all these every night). Also regarding Japanese Encephalitis, apparently it's quite deadly and the vaccine is not available in Europe at the moment. Any thoughts? 🙏 Congrats on your videos
Very good and accurate location descriptions and I then checked your video list and Subscribed !!!!

It's definitely one of my favorite places to be
Parq Ubud is a really nice place, worth mentioning

For longer short term stays in these places (1-2 months) what do you use for accommodations? Airbnb or is there an alternative that is better for SEA?
Hi! How about the islands in thailand? More Canggu- like?

Needs chapters
$600-$800 a month for Chiang Mai including rent. I dunno, that's a brutally low budget.
This girl has been around. 😉
