Chucky is by far the most iconic horror character ever. Everybody knows Chucky. I have a feeling someone will want him on their service.
People know Chucky, but not like Jason, Freddy and Michael or especially the Universal Monsters. I don't buy for a second that more people are familiar with Chucky than Dracula.

I’ve learned about so many horror movies, and things about movies from this channel. I don’t care what you guys cover. I’m always gonna be interested! ❤
SHUDDER has the opportunity to come in clutch and save Chucky, and I hope they do, even if just for one more season, because there are too many plot lines unresolved at the end of Season 3!
So the first two Terrifiers were Halloween, 3 is going to be Christmas... Guesses on what holiday 4 is? We just had Thanksgiving, so I'm going with either April Fool's Day (perfect for a clown), Easter or - hopefully - a St. Patrick's Day crossover with the Leprechaun.

On Dead Meat covering horror movie franchises: I have always been a horror movie fan, but rediscovered the enjoyment of the genre in 2019 when I first stated watching Dead Meat. It was because James was covering every single movie in the franchise that I expanded my horizon and put aside the prejudice that horror movie sequels were terrible. They are not universally bad, and sometimes they are better than the first one (Prom Night, Purge, Puppet Master, etc). Now I actually enjoy watching a horror franchise through with every single movie.
I am so excited for Guess The Kill and The Substance episodes... I tend to fall asleep at night to repeats of episodes and I can sense two new faves incoming...
I remember the stress the four year wait for Cult of Chucky to have it's dark cliffhanger to be resolved, but it's pretty tame compared to S3, especially for Nica, she deserves a break and I hope she isn't dead.
Hey James, I've had my transplant done Jan this year. Happy to talk you though what to expect over the next few months and what you can do to maximise growth during the period while it grows back ect?
it sucks that Chucky just got 3 seasons... BUT CHUCKY GOT 3 SEASONS!!! and, the plan was always to return to movies, right? now they just have a WEALTH of characters to cycle back through and onward into the future...! IT'S NOT OVER!!!
It's so much horror content coming out. I'm spoiled for choice. I definitely want to check out Hysteria(I'm a sucker for anything referencing the Satanic Panic), Salem's Lot and a few others.
Just started watching "Mr McMahon" brought back so many fantastic memories of my younger self watching and loving WWF but what a back story. I was so unaware of what went on behind the scenes. A very interesting documentary series. Fabulous episode today James,( get well soon) I love all your shows, and I can't wait for guess the kill . Thank you for entertaining me while I work 😊
Thank you for putting the trailers at the end for those of us who don't watch them. For anyone who cares, do yourself a favor & don't watch trailers, you'll likely enjoy more films. Find some reviewers you share taste with & just see if something is good by their thumbnail.
The problem with avoiding trailers is that I frequently go to the movies, where trailers are pretty much unavoidable unless you leave the theater and risk missing the opening of the movie.
@coolnerdlll6053 Agreed. I don't mind looking like a weirdo though, so I just pull my hat brim down & take me mind elsewhere. It's not perfect, but it works well enough, especially if the movie I'm there to see is memorable.
I’m sooo madly in love with blood and honey but in the same region as The Room (so bad it’s funny-esque) I can’t wait to see the kill count for # 2 😂 I remember watching the first one in theatres I laughed so hard I was WEEPING. And when it finished someone else in the theatre said “seriously?!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Not the best date I had but the best movie experience otherwise
Not really surprised. After the first season it was almost embarrassing watching what they did with Chucky. Probably why they didn't let him have full control of the first few Chucky movies. It wasn't great.
Legion is the best X-Men filmed media. It's VERY scary in the first season. Dan Stevens as Patrick Stewart's character's son, Amber Midthunder kicking ass, Jemaine Clement from What We Do in the Shadows, Rachel Kellar from Fargo and Aubrey Plaza in one of the best Marvel villain roles period (seriously, she rules in this). There's astral plane musical scenes & rap battles. Just three seasons. Give it a go, James. All you need to know is mutants exist & the government hates them. Saltburn noises are literally killing me.
It seems like anyone who mildly defends Halloween Ends gets treated like crap. I didn't like it, but it had some neat ideas. Nowhere near as bad as Resurrection!!
Welcome to toxic fandom, where everything sucks and if you defend anything you're a false fan. It's as horrible as it sounds, and you don't even want to know what Star Wars fans are like, if you haven't entered that cesspool already.
Yeah I was one of the Ends apologists in chat. I appreciate the bonkers swing it took and in a franchise with Season of the Witch, the Cult of Thorn and whatever Sherri Moon was doing in Zombies Halloween 2…come on Ends isn’t the craziest the franchise has gotten
Nope ends is hot garbage. Interesting ideas but the execution is so laughably bad that any redeeming value is ruined. I'm not a fan of cinema sins but if you want to understand why it's so bad check out their ends episode, most of my problems are addressed. It's cringe that some people are so desperate for this movie to be good, it's a crap 3/10 movie and that's okay. I'm hopeful that whatever comes next for Halloween will be better but if not, I'll tear it down without hesitation. Nothing wrong with having higher standards for a horror series I love, 2018 made me so happy, kills is okay, ends is a polished turd.
The thing that kills me about Chucky is that season 3 didn’t get a proper international release in most regions like in Ireland and the UK we didn’t get season 3 till this week when it launched on blu ray and dvd
